That made me sad, just because all the others here are improbably where-as this is a certainty. If this is really your worst fear, you need to come to terms with it now rather than wait. Go and see someone, figure out why this is a problem: abandonment? Being alone? Do you have siblings?
No siblings. It's not a problem per-se, since I know that unless I kick the bucket before they do, it's something I will eventually have to deal with.
That doesnt make the concept any less terrifying for me though.

Anything that can kill me. Bad drivers, big animals, angry women etc. I also hate situations where I'm not in control, fairground rides, being on the back of a bike. To be fair I've had crashes on the back of bikes and as passenger in a car so that's validated.
Spiders and wasps? MTFU. Surely any man can grab two twigs, rub them together and kill them with fire.
But yet I have no fear of riding pillion on motorbikes or being on fairground rides. MTFU yourself. Spiders and wasps? MTFU. Surely any man can grab two twigs, rub them together and kill them with fire.
I never said it was a rational fear
Considering I was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, being made redundant/having no job truly petrifies me. I don't fear anything else in life apart from this.
I've been single for a long time also, and I've no hope of meeting another girl so you'd think dying alone would scare me but it doesn't.
Maybe one day my RA will fk me completely, who knows. One way ticket to Switzerland will be in order if that day comes

This is one thing that sts me up. I just hope the blokes were killed in the collapse and didn't linger for days or longer.
Shameful that they didn't get them out.....but I am judging by today's standards not 1979.

It's flying for me. Never used to bother me at all but somehow, somewhere, somewhen my mind decided it wasn't having it anymore. In the last 10 years the only 2 times I've flown have been for weddings abroad where i felt i had little choice but to go. One was a flight to Italy last year. I sat there staring out of the window unflinching for over two hours. If you told me now that i had to get a flight in August i wouldn't think about much else between now and then; it would keep playing on my mind. All of which is damned annoying as i know it's irrational, plus flying is somewhat useful

Being in the water around a big ship that's in port, inbetween the ship and dockside.
How the diver guys swim around under those ships checking props and other such things makes me shiver.
No idea why I'm such a wuss.

Heights, I would rather cut of my testicles, with a rusty spoon, rather than be any more than 4 foot off the floor.
Even just looking up at Blackpool tower, while stood on the ground, made me go wobbly legged enough to need to sit down.

Absolutely petrified of them. Probably stems from last being stung when I was 3 years old and I know my time's long overdue to be stung again.
Couldn't agree more, their nasty little fkers who make me run in a random direction screaming and arms flailing. True story there's currently two of them locked in the conservatory of my house which has become a no go zone for a few days until they starve to death as I'm home alone for a while,Absolutely petrified of them. Stretching to an estimated total length of 2,500km, the Odessa Catacombs are perhaps the largest network of tunnels anywhere in the world. They're significantly longer - and more complex - than the famous catacombs found beneath Rome (300km) and Paris (500km)... in fact, if these Ukrainian tunnels were stretched out to full length, they'd reach further than the distance between Odessa and Paris.
On the eve of 2005, a group of local teens decided to spend the New Year getting drunk in the tunnels... and by the time they left, had managed to lose count of the group. One girl, named Masha, had wandered off at some point in the night. Her body wasn't found until 2007, when coroners estimated that she had spent three days lost in the cold, dark tunnels before finally dying of dehydration.

Losing limbs, being blind or being confined to a wheelchair. I'd be on the next flight to the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland if that ever happens.
Few years back I had to have an op where for a short time they had to stop the blood flow to my brain. Basically an artery in my neck hadn't formed properly and had to have a bit cut out and reconstructed. A bit like a carotid endarterectomy except I wasn't furred up which is the usual reason.
Told that normally because of the risk of stroke on the table the risk of death or severe disablement my surgeon ppreferred patients to be awake but in my case they had to knock me on the head.
Upset the Mrs by saying that I wasn't in the slightest scared of dying but otherwise if severely disabled she would have to give the ok for any plug to be pulled.
Anyway it all worked out and I now like celery which utterly hated before. Win win.

This is an odd one for a water lover but for me, it's man made stuff underwater.
Submerged pipes, the underneath of big boats and my worst, locks and weirs. They all PROPERLY s**t me up.
If it's natural (reefs, rocks, etc) I have no issues at all.
This picture makes me go all wobbly - the pinnacle of my fear:
I have wee panics about the kids occasionally too (we lost one at full term before we had our two healthy kids).
