Its another Planes, Trains & Automobiles epic from DJRC folks. Fucino caldera at 07.00 CET to Poole for 16.30.

And yes you guessed it...flight was delayed in Rome.
And yes you guessed it again I left Italy when it was 30 degrees this weekend and returned to UK after your "heatwave" to find it grey.
And why this epic today? To pick up a droptop.

God's sense of humour sux!

Currently sat outside in an alpine thunderstorm with the bbq while swmbo deals with hungry kids in the van. Thankfully I bothered to pack the gazebo biggrin

The locals are giving me some odd looks though hehe

Epic rain today as I passed Maidstone on the M20 around 9.30 am.

Wet again now in Surrey.

After what seems weeks and weeks of fantastic weather, our first rainy day. However it did clear around sunset to reveal some quite nice colours.

Woken up to lots of rain in west London. Quite like it actually, it's a very soothing noise, and the grass is looking a lot happier.

I was expecting to wake up to the dawn of the apocalypse here in Essex. Light breeze and a bit of drizzle instead.

Puggit's on holiday so the forecasts here could be a bit "Michael Fish" till he returns.

BTW it's wet in Surrey.

Still here - I'm in the boring gap between the Midlands and London frown No wind, just constant drizzle.

The centre of the low pressure is now passing over the Midlands. To be honest, generally speaking, Bertha is a bit of a dud. There are some pretty spectacular storms around, but the wind and rain isn't quite what was feared.

I hope this is true - got that ferry crossing tonight, but on current information there's nothing to fear later.
