I think you can get weekly sales figures on line somewhere, would be interesting to see how much damage in sales has been done.

There you go. Click on the draw number. Every draw since day 1.
In the late 90s they were doing around 4Bn tickets a year which fell pretty much each year to the current 2.5Bn.

A fiver says she's in the next Big Brother house. Or page 3 of the Sun with lotto balls covering her vitals.

Probably a scam to claim on a newly taken out life insurance policy. http://metro.co.uk/2017/08/15/grandmother-who-trie...

Euromillions draw a few months ago. £100+ million jackpot.
I get 5 out of 7 numbers. (3 of 5 main numbers + 2 lucky stars) I think. Ooh, maybe a grand?
£48.50.

A while back on the normal lottery I got 5 out of 6 numbers. - Got a measly £252. Still a nice little bonus bit you'd think you'd get more than that considering it was only one number away from the jackpot, which was £16m that night.I get 5 out of 7 numbers. Here in NZ, the standard Lotto only costs the equivalent of 30p per line, 6 numbers 1 - 40, but the jackpot is 'only' equivalent of £450,000
Odds of 1 in 3.8 million, or for about £3 odds of 1 in 380,000. Cost-to-odds-to-jackpot ratio I think that's not bad at all when compared to Thunderball etc
I don't drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes, so I'm quite happy to chuck £6 a week at Lotto... why not. Even a paltry sum of £450,000 is more than enough for a Jag F-type R and mortgage-free.
The Lotto Powerball here is 60p per line, odds of 1 in 38 million and an average jackpot of about £8 million. It starts at c£2.5 million and is capped at £20 million which filters down to 5b + bonus ball.
Odds of 1 in 3.8 million is much better than the UK Lottery, but for a jackpot win of £450,000... I wouldn't be disappointed with that, but... part of the appeal with Euromillions and the UK Lotto is that the jackpot is OBSCENE eye-watering amounts.Odds of 1 in 3.8 million, or for about £3 odds of 1 in 380,000. But like you said, £450k would get you mortgage-free with a very nice car on the driveway.
Anyone had much luck since the greedy sods have made it 1-59 numbers?

Yeah, £450k would be quite nice, but that's the top Lotto prize here excluding the PowerballBut like you said, £450k would get you mortgage-free with a very nice car on the driveway.

So if there are three winners, they each get about £150k for 6 numbers

I won £2k last night. Pretty happy with that.
A 6th number would have got me £9m but hey, that’s why it’s called a lottery!
One number more might have got you £9m, but look on the bright side, one number less would have only got you £170. A 6th number would have got me £9m but hey, that’s why it’s called a lottery!
It's paid for our holiday next year which is nice. Means I can spend £2k of my own money on frivolity and not have to feel bad about it
"Set for Life"
Win £10K a month for 30 years (Or £3.6M if you had it in a lump - which I don't think you can)
Only so far, not one of the 6 draws has manage to give away the top prize. Which will inevitably start to hurt ticket sales in due course if people think it's unwinnable.
Also for reasons I cant understand it doesn't rollover. Which currently would be 60K a month for 30 years. That sort of money would make a significant impact to sales imo.
Anybody won anything with this game?
