I must admit I share sparkyhx's experience in this matter, I don't even own a pair of sunglasses. But I sympathise with people who do need to wear them outdoors in bright conditions.
really? you sympathise? There is no issue with wearing them ffs!singlecoil said:
Of course there are issues with wearing them. First of all they have to be chosen and purchased, then they need to be kept in good condition and ready for use. One poster even has to wear them indoors because he has nowhere else to put them. Issues, certainly there are issues.

people who wear sunglasses full stop.
Its taken millions of years for the human eye to adapt to bright sunlight.........suddenly it would apear as a species we can't cope.
the only time I felt the need was when walking home after a retina scan and the ey drop[s which open the iris.
The human eye hasn't finished adapting to bright sunlight, and in fact it's the UV component of sunlight which is one of the biggest causes of cataracts. Its taken millions of years for the human eye to adapt to bright sunlight.........suddenly it would apear as a species we can't cope.

So I guess you choose not to use anti-biotics to combat infections as you have a well evolved immune system and you don't wash your hair as the natural greases protect it. The world is a wonderful place, full of technology that allows us live far longer, and in greater comfort, than would ever be possible with just our naturally evolved capabilities alone. Its taken millions of years for the human eye to adapt to bright sunlight.........suddenly it would apear as a species we can't cope.

Anyone else think OP really shouldn't Watch CSI: Miami, might tip him over the edge.
I've never really seen anyone wearing them indoors, but do find it funny when we get a semi-bright day in Scotland and half the motorway is filled with sunglass wearing knobs. We get almost two weeks of sun a year where the hell do they keep the glasses hidden for the other 50.

i feel stupid wearing sunglasses indoors in shops
issue is they are prescription and without them i can't see st.
I don't always have my normal glasses with me so i have no choice. As my sunglasses are ray bans people probably assume i'm one of those indoor sunglasses wearing tts.
Indeed. The times I've jumped out of the car and only realised my glasses are still on the dash and I'm still wearing my prescription sun glasses once I've entered a building and it's too far or have no time to go back. issue is they are prescription and without them i can't see st.

Look like a dick but I'd look more stupid walking into things and people without them.
Case of lesser of two evils.
