Odd things your neighbours do?

I'd be parking my least precious of the 4 cars outside my house to stop that behaviour.
Why? What difference does it make to you if someone parks in the street somewhat near your house? It's really not worth bothering with. Some Gump said:

I'd be soooo tempted to park on their drive.
It did cross my mind.I think its more to annoy the bellends opposite them who try taking over the place by never using the drives and parking on the road. So now when they come home they have to park elsewhere and next door can park on the drive.
I have 4 cars myself yet mine are all on the drive. I have the same space as them both. Think I am to considerate lol
Every morning since before Christmas one of our neighbours pumps his tyre up. I had some spare part worn tyres in the same size in the garage and said he could have them if he wanted to help him out.
The response was that the tyre was fine, it’s the wheel that is cracked and needs welding, but he doesn't want to do that as he doesn't trust it... its handy though because if i sleep through my alarm, atleast the noise of the compressor wakes me up!

He's lucky that cracks become completely inert over time The response was that the tyre was fine, it’s the wheel that is cracked and needs welding, but he doesn't want to do that as he doesn't trust it... its handy though because if i sleep through my alarm, atleast the noise of the compressor wakes me up!
It's funny how some people struggle with even a basic level of consideration for their neighbours.

I hate people like that, hopefully it keeps happening and he'll soon realise he doesn't have any kind of authority over anyone.
It's funny you quote this today, I had an update the other weekThere is a green space opposite his house at the entrance to the estate
He had been complaining about kids playing football on said space
They ignored him
He complained to council
Council said that's what its designed for
He again took it upon himself to try and make the rules and apparently went off the deep end at a load of 14/15 year olds
Now I have NO doubt (as my mates kid was one of them) that they would have given him some lip and attitude but apparently he really went in on them, the Police were called and he has been spoken to
I do wonder if he has some MH issues
The kids are still playing footy there but for now are being accompanied by one of the parents (for both sides wellbeing) such a silly situation, i am over there in a few weeks for a gig so will be interesting to see if he pops out
My father has just installed 3/4 new fence panels between him and the immediate neighbour, following them breaking due to the bad weather last week.
Within an hour of installation, the neighbours father (visiting at the time) knocked on the door, asking if my father could keep him in mind if he ever wanted remove and sell the three newly installed panels, as he would be interested in purchasing them.
Still can't quite work it out. They're about £20 each in B&Q. Bizarre.

They eat their evening meal in different rooms. She sits in the dining room with the lights on and curtains open and he eats in the lounge..
How do you know this? I suppose we'll get, neighbour peering though window at dinner time er post in due couse.
You see these people you know, sat on their sofas watching the telly.
Very weird, why do they want to be seen.
Recently moved house and I live on a little "island" of 4 houses. My driveway is oddly shaped so occasionally if I'm unloading shopping, I'll park across the entrance to the island, bring the stuff inside, and then park properly down the side of the house. Once or twice I've come across the neighbours who either want to leave or enter our island, and they've been happy to wait for me to close the boot and let them in/out. No complaints as they understand I'm just unloading.
What's odd though, is that last Thursday (8 days ago) one of my neighbours came across my car parked across the entrance and decided to just park on the street outside. Nothing wrong there, and when I came out I apologised and said I'd move straight away. She smiled and said it wasn't an issue - but 8 days later her car is still on the street. She's used it a couple of times and her driveway is still empty where she normally parks it, so I cann't work out why she's taken to parking on the street. Had a brief chat with her on Tuesday and no issues at all, can't work it out.
