Mine cuts his rather large lawn with just a strimmer! Takes him a good 3-4 hours to do and makes a right racket!

I had similar neighbours. Lovely lasses but they moved out when they won the lottery jackpot. As I'd always helped them out with odd jobs etc. they said they'd like to give me a parting gift and asked if there was anything I particularly wanted. They gave me a very nice Tag Carrera but it's not quite what I asked for...

Does it help to mention they were lesbians?

I rarely pull my bedroom curtains. During the winter its dark when I wake up and when I arrive back from work. They are currently closed to keep the sun/heat out of the bedroom.

It's worth checking to see if it needs planning permission if it's that close to the boundary.
thanks. maybe i should google this... but how do i establish whether it needs planning?

ETA I did in fact google it, and have gone to the local council planning enforcement page and submitted a form on there. Cheers!

Neighbours got a Ford transit custom with the two bonnet stripes. They have been peeling for ages.

So today he set to task….. with a blow torch.

What? So your inlaws write a cheque for a new fence that isn't built then you advise them to write another one? Seriously, go round to the neighbours and tell them to FRO and stop with the harrassment and threatening letters. If the first one was cashed I wouldn't be entertaining their petty bullying for a second longer - actually, I wouldn't be putting up with that sort of behaviour full stop.
No this one cheque and only cheque. They wouldn't take one last time this time they are not having the option.

My - rather reclusive but very much a fellow petrolhead - neighbour gave me an industrial dehumidifier for my garage when I said I was looking for one, oh and he stripped it and serviced it first!

When I asked the ladies next door for a watch, stripping and servicing is exactly what I had in mind...

He want 'to watch' not 'a watch'.
