How does the deep-state face recognition invasion of privacy conspiracy fit in with the compulsory face masks for fake-covid conspiracy? I'm confused.

I imagine there are some people that are quite pissed off with the face mask thing. Lets be honest , there must be quite a few bods in 'national security' that love the idea of Facial recognition systems, but have they not moved on from that and are now working on gait recognition or something?
