If that's a euphemism, it sounds like you lost at Tinder.

I was thinking more unlucky.

I'd be livid if I came across my wife and mother of my child on tinder. Double betrayal.

It was hot... hottest day of the year and we were Bunked up.

I'm sure I've suggested this as a date before now. Yet this was his idea so I went with it. Definitely have the same way of thinking. Was good fun as well as interesting. Went on to Southend for the afternoon and evening. Typical car spotting/Fish n Chips/drink/ice cream on the Seafront until the sun set. Pretty much perfect, even the company!

(R8, TVR, Morgan, Elise, M4, countless roof-off MX5s, Few yank Ford pick-ups, couple of MGs, Skylines, lots of motorbikes, inc a lovely little cafe racer and several Lambrettas)

I thought north east.... Could have just been a day out, or she's been hiding that she's an Essex girl wink

Not online dating but I'll ask anyway. So I got chatting with this girl that was holding a leaving do at the place I work at. She sat next to me in the restaurant, we talked quite a bit (more than we've ever talked before), not sure about her but I seemed to enjoy it. She is off to go traveling for a few months on and off. Traveling, back to the UK, more traveling, back to the UK etc etc.

I've known her for over half a year so I thought I'd add her to my Facebook. She accepted my request. Not sure how to proceed now, any help?

Thanks

Tell her you enjoyed talking to her the other night and would she fancy meeting for a drink one evening before heading off on her travels? Then decide from there.

Hehe, that was my plan also (srs). Ill see what happens. Thing is I don't remember asking her when she was leaving so she could be gone tomorrow morning. Not sure how to word the message so I can put the ball in her side of the court. She's into dinning out so I guess coffee/grab something to eat with her.

You 'seemed to enjoy it'? That's weird- either you did or didn't...

Known her 'for over half a year'? Again odd, I'll hedge a guess you're not a native, but stalkery weirdness doesnt generally go down well.

Leave it.

Use messenger
You: Hello, how are you?
Her: Good, thanks
You: Are you looking forward to your travels then?
Her: Yes, very excited
You: When did you say you're leaving?

Actually, given this info (travel) you're not going to get far but worth setting some foundations for when she is done (getting pumped all over the world)

Sorry, I dont express myself well. I know this needs to change.

I didn't want to initiate anything while she was still working where I did, for her sake and mine. Not sure how not going straight for someone as soon as you meet them is stalkery.
