I'm sure there will be more of that. I am currently finding that girls match you on Tinder then unmatch when you actually message them. That's if they reply at all. dheads. I am chatting to a couple of younger girls at the minute but that's early days and they might just go silent like the others do laugh
How soon after you hit a match have you been starting your patter? I'm getting into my stride with it now. Got a couple of dates lined up and a possible couple more in the offing. Gonna have to stop swiping for a bit as there's no point queuing them up as they'll only lose interest. And although I was half bemoaning the Unmatch option a few posts up, it's actually a godsend and surely one of the best parts of tinder. If at any point the mental comes out you just hit the unmatch button and never hear from her again and you can't be tempted to get back in touch. Brutal but effective. I've also not bothered with any contact means outside of tinder for this very reason (e.g. Messenger, whatsapp or even the bloody phone number!)

It depends, if I'm already chatting to someone it could be a couple of days, if I'm bored about an hour laugh

But HOLD THE PHONE!; I've just matched with someone and SHE'S MESSAGED FIRST! I've had to tell her that she's challenged everything I thought I knew about the universe. laugh

Only had 1 girl message first and it was some generic line - tell me 3 things about yourself you wouldn't tell anyone else. I sarcastically told her to do one and she never replied. Unmatched. Job done. I'd steer clear of any girls who message first. Even the ugly ones make you do the initial legwork, the way it should be!

Is the Phono' even still there? Got to be 20-25 years since I was last in there. music
Sadly not. The Merrion Centre has been somewhat gentrified, although there is the Key Club on the side of it now, which is a similar sort of crowd and music.
Anyone remember The Chocolate Factory? All the alternative gothy goodness being on the very top floor?

Was that the club on the opposite side from the Phono' pretty much, but up on the balcony? I don't remember the name of it and don't remember it being goth either but I could be getting mixed up with some other place.

Of course you still have her number. You probably text her for some filth when you’re lonely and knocking one out.
Was once having a friends with benefits relationship with a girl called Lisa. I sent a dick picture to the wrong Lisa in my phone book.

But luckily it wasn't my accountant or anything. BUT it was a Lisa I had banged a year earlier and was now engaged to a friend.

It was followed by perhaps the most sincere apologie Ive ever made.....not really.....I didn't mean it. Should have proposed to that Lisa before my friend did hahahaaa

oh and on the pull in Leeds, used to go to walkabout by that barge yellow pub thing. Pulled a few in there, all sorts.

Nah, it was down one of the main streets, back towards the railway station.

Sorry about that, anyway on to another of my abject failures.

I was in Leeds at the Duchess (that's in Yorkshire), seeing a band called You Slosh. About half way through the gig I notice this petite blonde girl off to the side giving me the eye.

She was more of a rock/metal chick than your average You Slosh follower. Think of a cross between Ann & Nancy Wilson from Heart, only minus the weight of a mini cooper van. Hot as f**king hot she was, even through the beer goggles.

Yes!

Much chat ensues and we agree to go to York together next week to see them again. Friday night arrives and I'm back on the bike to Leeds. She lets me into her flat and as she's getting ready (they're never ready on time) I catch a glimpse in to her bed room and there are handcuffs and whips and other stuff hanging from hooks on her wall.

YES! YES! and more YES!!!

We train it to York and half way through the gig she goes cold on me. Panicking a bit at the fact that this dominatrix is not looking like she is going to abuse me beyond my wildest dreams I think I just made it worse.

Anyway back to her place and I'm given the pull out bed in the lounge and left to my dreams. (I let myself out around 6 a.m. and never heard from her again).

Ok she was a real life barbie doll ... very elegant ...

But they saw the state of me and bunged her in a cell for 12 hours on a Tuesday.

Then court, I couldn’t face it so dropped the charges for a restraining order.
PH Mode: You got yo' ass handed to you by a blonde midget with tits. PH Mode.

On a more serious note, you can see why people decide not to press charges against these loons of both sexes, and why victims need protection.

A concept that will explode heads in some parts of this site, but there is a real enough danger to both sexes.

5’8” and b cups rofl I wish I could put pics up, she was definitely a high-water mark for me.

But yes, court was intimidating but more importantly had she been convicted I’d have been scared to leave the house. I had my alleyway door lock smashed, fag buts put out on my car, stuff through the letterbox etc etc all happen whilst I was with her. I assume the ex husband but who knows.
Christ!

Well, the Bradford girl I fell hard for actually ended up with another bloke after me who turned out to be a psycho apparently and the police were involved. She probably realised me getting in a state after far too much vodka one night wasn't that bad afterall once she met him!

Kind of funny but in reality I wouldn't wish a nutter on a single mum with kids. I'm not that bitter.

The club opposite Phono by the way was Ritzy's. A real hell hole.

I've had some women on POF message me first. Regrettably they are nearly always 50 or 60 somethings looking for a toy boy.I'm not into "grab a granny"!!

bow

Talking of hell holes..

Back in the pre-t'interweb days I went for an 'eyeball' with a chick I'd gotten talking to on the CB, from Seacroft. She wanted to meet in Big Lil's...

In the 6 hours that followed:

- I had a knife pulled on me by some meathead in the alleyway to Big Lil's who reckoned that I was looking at him "funny"
- I ended up getting a "lift" with the chick back to her place in her brother's car (an Astra GTe) which actually turned out not to be his as he'd nicked it from Burmantofts a few hours earlier
- I was forced to bail out of said car and run for my life with the cops in hot pursuit somewhere in the Kentmere's in Seacroft after he'd refused to stop for blue lights.

When we got to her place it was actually her mum's and she was still living there... The chick was totally hammered so sloped off to bed leaving me sat there on the sofa, also pretty hammered. The mother(some 20st brute of a woman) appears whilst striking up a Lambert & Butler and is super nice with me and makes me a bacon sandwich smile, saying I can sleep on the sofa. I crash out on the sofa and off she toddles upstairs. Some time later I'm awoken by someone laid close behind me with a hand down my jeans playing with my nob and kissing my face and neck. Thinking it was Fiona (the chick) who'd woken up and come down I just let it happen, but then she said something to me in a very gravelly voice... that just so happened to sound the same as that of her mother yikes . Yep, it was her fking mother trying to get off with me eek .

I got up off the sofa and find the light switch and she's asking:

"What's the matter?"
"Nothing. I've just realised the time and I need to go!"
"Don't you find me attractive?"
"It's not that, you're just not really my type" hehe
"Why not? What's wrong with me?"
"Nothing".
"Come on, come and sit down here" [patting the sofa]
"No, I really need to go".
"YOU UNGRATEFUL ! I EVEN MADE YOU A fkING BACON SANDWICH! eek
"I know, and it was really nice. Here, I'll give you some money for it..."
"I DON'T WANT YOUR fkING MONEY! JUST GET THE fk OUT OF MY HOUSE YOU UNGRATEFUL !"

I got to the end of the street and then realised that my wallet, loose change and also my silver wrist chain are all missing frown. Decided not to go back to see if they were there and would chase up with Fiona later in the day on the CB, so I had a very long walk home to Headingley at 4.30am in the pissing rain. Unsurprisingly Fiona had had a look for them but there was sign of them in the house rolleyes. She apologised for crashing out and wanted to do it again the next weekend - "thanks, but I think I'll give it a miss.." hehe

The memory is a bit blurry on this, but I met another girl around the time I got talking with the Bradford lass. She was also a Bradfordian who had moved just over the border to Leeds. Nice enough but I wasn't really sure about her.

She went on the back burner and then I met V. What actually happened here, is I spotted her friend on Tinder and she had her Insta handle on her profile, so I added her and started chatting to her on there. This went on a month or so and she met some guy but I stayed in touch. One night about midnight she says "we're all out in town, you're welcome to come join us!" so I jump in the car, arrive in Sheffield at 1am and join a bunch of pissed people I have never met on a night out.

She was crazy. Fun, but crazy. And she had a hot mate, V, who was kissing a girl despite being there with some weasely bloke. End of the night, there's a row between the girl I went to meet and Mr Weasely and he buggers off. I give them a lift home and end up staying over, albeit nothing happened.

I was invited down again a week later and out we go. I had decided at this point it was more a mates thing between myself and Instagirl, so when V made a move on me I was very pleasantly surprised! A few weeks later we end up in a reltionship. Two weeks after that she tells me she's just not ready, she thought that she was but she isn't and she has a number of issues that she thought getting with me would fix but it hadn't.

I understood and I have stayed friends with her but it really hurt. I really liked her. 25, absolutely gorgeous, amazing boobs, insisted on being handcuffed and choked during sex etc. She was also bi-curious and was talking about things like wanting a 3some and wanting to watch me bang another girl etc. And she was a genuinely nice girl, just messed up. A big problem with her was that she had been with a guy nine years, from the age of 15 up to 24. She hadn't been split from him long when she met Mr Weasely and then she basically got with me the week after him and her split so it was just bad timing and a bit of a mess really but I genuinely liked her and felt she was someone I could fall in love with in due time.

After talking with her about some of her issues I urged her to go and see her GP because she definitely needs help/counselling. She's now booked in for some sessions and the GP has put her on some medication. It's good, but it's sad, you know?

On the plus side, after falling out of love with it, I did rediscover a passion for going down on girls with her... laugh

Query on the overlap between tinder/bumble and Insta...

Quite a few profiles have "find me on insta:" with their nick listed. Are they ACTUALLY wanting you to follow them and strike up a conversation on Insta rather than Tinder or whatnot? Or is it more just to show off their photos of their lunch, pets and holidays?

It's to get more followers. Probably trying to become "influencers" and earn a living for doing jack st
