Unless said colleague wants a piece of her for himself then I doubt so. The colleague and the OP are on first name terms, if it was some random, then more likely.
I bet it's the first thing he did as soon as JALS was out the door.

I kept four on the go for a few years, losing about one a month and bringing in another.

Was very very hard work, fun, but hard work.

You've probably not done enough ground work, you should find out where her parents live and befriend them, then when she visits bam you're sitting there and she can't get away.

You might need to untie them from their chairs before she gets there though.

I share this opinion too. He knows enough about her to know she's separated and not currently with anyone so it's clear they're on good talking terms at a personal level and not just talking shop.

Also, surely I can't be the only one wondering what the hell he's doing with the all the butter, milk, chicken breats and bacon he's buying on his twice daily visits?! confused WTF!

He's referring to the Richard Gere/Julia Roberts film.

Not just talking shop... so you know nothing on a personal level about anyone you work with? I find that most peculiar.

Jesting aside, reading about the butterflies was rather nice. Realistically she’s probably busy, could be working another job, wants to think things over before calling, talk to her friends/family.

JASL step back a bit and chill. Fingers crossed you get a positive. Be it now or in a week.

As for the breasts I posted a recipe earlier.

I think you've got the wrong end of the stick. That was my point. Kermit said that the guy in the shop wouldn't have said anything and Monkey disagreed, as do I. If the staff know about each other's personal lives/relationship status then it's clear they're friendly and talk, which in turn makes it highly likely that the guy has told her about JALS questioning when on break in the canteen, for example. smile

After a date of my own with a spicy senorita last night just thought I'd check for an update on JALS situation. Hang in there pal! She's probably been busy and I reckon until Sunday evening is a fair time for her to reply. There's often a spike in activity on the dating apps from Sunday afternoon onwards presumably as people begin to wind down from the weekend.

+1 until then op appeared ok, but now it's getting scary.

How many times a day do you pop into Aldi for god's sakes.

OP danger is that you have been single for a while, suddenly felt this connection to this lass and now you can't let go.

Let go.
Jesus Christ lighten up - some times I might go three times a day - it's less than two minutes walk from my house, I treat it like a 'corner shop'.

I talk to all the staff and managers and security there, always have and always will - they're fantastic people in there.

They're all on first name terms with me and my son, one of the other check out girls last week made a point of asking after my son - he's had sleep over party's at her nephews and he tells me she makes the finest curry.

I know you London/City types are scared to talk to strangers, but round here everyone says 'Hello' to each other and stops for a chat, it's a very close community here.

So all the creepy/stalker comments are so far off the mark it's untrue.
3 times a day? I don't go to corner shops three times a day! Don't think anyone does. Sounds a bit sad.

You appear to have made Aldi the centre of your social life. I would recommend not popping into that store more than twice a week from now on.

Change is good.

Well, to bring this to a conclusion, it's a 'no'.

Just popped in for some tomatoes and mozzarella, was really surprised to see her at the checkout, don't normally see her there on a weekend.

Anyway joined her queue, she looked a bit awkward so when it was my turn I just asked how she was and said sorry if yesterday embarrassed you or made you feel uncomfortable.

She said no problem, I said sorry again and told her I just had to know for certain.

She said it's ok.

Oh, well, at least you tried... now she probably does feel a little uncomfortable since she is stuck there (proven by the fact that 'she looked a bit awkward'). Quite poor show, really.

You. You have made her feel uncomfortable by asking her out whilst she is working and has no where to go (like we told you).
