I don’t need to keep buying her things, but If you stop buying your partner gifts because they no longer need them or you feel you’ve done enough your relationship is on a very steep downward slope.
I enjoy giving far more than getting, there’s little I like more than treating someone and I’ll always do that.
I won’t stop because she doesn’t need what I get her, perhaps you do but then we are clearly different.

Having money and contacts helps, no doubt about that. But the ladies I’ve dated often have plenty of money of their own. My current actually earns more than me.
But they like to be spoiled. Made to feel special. You get some banter going, be cheeky and funny, be polite but allude that you have a naughty side.
When you get a date, go all out to impress. Don’t go for coffee, don’t meet in Harvester, don’t wear Asda jeans, and don’t turn up with deep pockets and short arms.
I have dated some incredible women, I don’t settle for ok or decent like most of the people I see on my travels.
For those who say I’m paying, yes, I am, we pretty much all are. I give, i get.
But while I’m getting, I’m getting everything. They aren’t playing about, they aren’t bored and they aren’t distracted.
Some people ( even on here) will understand, most wont because they couldn’t even dream of going to the places I go to with the people I go with.
I’m here to be shot at, laugh all you like but I’m not going to a travelodge with a size 18 accounts clerk after a fun night at Wetherspoons.

Which is why I took her to falkirk v Livingston (division 1 in Scottish football) on a bitterly cold Tuesday night in January for our first real date. My mate sat in the back slugging tins of best. I treated her to a romantic stroll because I wasn't paying £4 for parking. I bought her a scotch pie which she politely refused (they all are very thin and eat nothing over there so I assume this to be the reason nothing to do with the fat streaming out it). So I had two and a couple of packets of space raiders for tea.
It's quite something for someone to be so utterly confident in their methods with the ladies when only a couple of years ago they were posting that a woman had ruined them all ways up. I didn't read the whole thing but going by this thread I'm guessing no real reflection took place.
I'm pretty confident myself, but I also realise there are different ways to be rich. Rich isn't a decent salary but ending up broke having to sell a house. Rich is having someone like you for you, and not just for what you can buy them, or the places you can take them. Having to keep buying things, to keep things going and maintain the illusion is abject poverty imo.

She doesn't speak any English but from her body language I just know that we're in love. I've met all her family now and gave them all money because i wanted to, not because they asked.
