My Dad was in the RN in the 1950's when the daily tot of rum still existed, so he says wink He also asserts a tobacco ration too.

With a pending birthday for me and Princess Junior starting senior school on Monday, I have been rootling around the web for memories of the year I started senior school and found this (from 1977 paperbag old git)
