I was listening to the Bluetones first album yesterday, trying to work out how on earth it was 18 years old.
Only 23 myself but I can appreciate this as Expecting to Fly was one of my dad's most played albums in the 90s. Great album and I must steal it next time I pop roundXJSJohn said:

You can't be that old, you have a Facebook account. Personally I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole. Bah humbug not quite there yet but this year has made a dent with 4 passing on already

For me it's when you don't know who up to date singers/groups are. Growing up I was always right up to date with the charts/music groups etc. Now I haven't a clue and that makes me feel old. So off to catch the Top 40 on VMusic!!
I'm 48 next month and feel the same about the charts, haven't got a clue about a thing in the top 40. I used to know everything in the late '70s through to the early '90s.Having said that though, I listen to 6 Music all the time buy a lot of stuff I hear.

My "cyber" friend on here hasn't replied to any of my messages in ages & the last time he was active on here was 19th August 2010.......
I know he was poorly & fear the worst & have no way of contacting his family.
Rings a bell, was he a regular at the Nurburgring, possibly lived in Ireland?I know he was poorly & fear the worst & have no way of contacting his family.

I'm 48 on Sunday but do listen to the charts and 6 Music. Having said that though, I listen to 6 Music all the time buy a lot of stuff I hear.
What makes me feel old is talking about fairly newish cars or bikes and the young lads in the workshop stare at you blankly with a "What's a Scimitar/Esprit?"
