How does the complaint of one person count as "news"!?

According to the Grauniad, "the sentiment is too often used to normalise men being violent, aggressive, predatory and sexist." So perhaps that's what she's upset about. Personally if I saw a six-year-old wearing the shirt I wouldn't think "gosh, what a violent, aggressive, predatory and sexist child", but then I'm not a .
