Might be due a parrot but isn't Pidgin more like Esperanto, a genuine cross-border language?

Whereas the examples above are just people being dim.

Not Facebook but related to the above.
There was a local news story on TV about a tragic death, as is standard practice they interviewed local people and I think I only understood about a third of the words said. Wife and I look at each other with a wtf expression.
A few minutes later there was a piece where they interviewed dementia sufferers and they made more sense.
I believe there have only been two BBC interviews with members of the UK public that have required sub-titles; Northern Ireland and Black Country.

That's not a fail, it's very much a win.

It's broken English, and doesn't really have proper written form so is more phonetic when translated to text by the BBC.

The Facebook examples are phonetic, but as you say it's because those native English speakers are dim.

All I see are two heroes who saved a store from getting robbed.

Guy on the right attempted to stop the guy on the left from committing a crime, but the guy on the left had second thoughts and decided to intervene and intercept the projectile. Absolute hero in my books.

Give them both medals.

A Facebook friend of Mrs Canam works for the Fair Trade Society and posted a pic of a rose, one of which was on the desk of every female employee yesterday and that they were a great employer.
I asked what had the "Fair Trade" Society done for their male members of staff. (Nothing, obviously)

Hopefully they'll do their bit on March 14th...

I worked out in Iceland a couple of years back - and they have a ‘mans day’ whereby appreciation is shown to male colleagues, partners etc.

Every man in the company I was working at got a bottle of beer on his desk.

As I understand it - there is a female equivalent at another time of the year (analogous to our valentines day).

Is Facebook now reducing people to the level where they cannot think for themselves? In the last twenty four hours I have seen one post that claimed it was a video of Greenpeace freeing birds from a ship. Even when I pointed out it was actually racing pigeons being released for a race people were still coming on worrying if the birds would be able to make it back to land.

Then I have just had someone claim that "Sir" stands for "slave I remain" .Surely if you plan to share something you would make sure it was something that doesn't make you look an idiot, I guess at least it helps me know who to unfriend.

Someone on my facebook is sharing conspiracy theories about that school shooting in America. They will believe what they want to believe and find stuff to back it up. I am on the verge of blocking her. It is a bit creepy how they are sharing videos of confused and upset teenagers trying to give tv interviews and claiming they are actors for some reason.

I'm a member of a satirical Buy & Sell group - taking the piss out of the type of stuff on real groups.

One of my "listings" has ended up on the main marketplace - it should be obvious to most people that it is a pisstake, but the messages I'm getting must be from people who still have somebody to tie their shoelaces for them.

How long before some retard SJW kicks up a stink and says "I don't identify as either a man or a woman - what are you going to give me?" biggrin

Scandinavians are cooler than that. They won't care or get upset about that kinda st whether they're gay/straight/99 flavours.
