TARDIS props tend to be made from wood, so they don’t last outside. I built one many moons ago from exterior ply...you name it, I used it to preserve it. It rotted...badly.

Police boxes were made from concrete; phone boxes from cast iron.

If I ever build another prop, it’ll be from fibreglass.
