One thing I've noticed is "the youth" saying "LOL" as a word, instead of actually laughing out loud. It makes me feel like a curmudgeon but really, couldn't they just fking laugh?

I have almost done it once or twice.

If it does become a normal everyday use word it iwll be cringeworthy.

The mrs' sister has a friend who actually says 'lol'. Not text but in speech.
