I don't think the US/international lotteries are a good idea for several reasons:

1) People don't want to play all the time
2) International laws/groups/US lotteries get complicated, especially regarding taxes/lump sums & annual payments, etc.
3) The jackpot odds for the US powerball are nearly double the Euromillions

It'd be a recipe for disaster, imho. What we have going at the minute works and I think people like the fact it isn't all the time.

I wasn't suggesting a PH syndicate smile

I have no idea if there would be complications but i am sure you would still end up with some beer money if you won it!

The bods at PH seem happy that I'm not going to run off with people's money and so our syndicate continues as normal, woo smile

(if anyone is ever in any doubt/would like extra reassurances, I'm happy to provide details regarding my address/school workplace to give you some confidence that I'm not going to scarper off anywhere)
I am sure having 100 powerfully built company directors on your case would make you think twice biggrin
I can't even imagine how many frozen sausages that would be hammered into Spud's lawn!!

Slightly off topic.

I just had an offer cone up on FB to play the US powerball lottery which has been opened up so you can play it outside the US.

£349,000,000 this week and it is buy one, get one free, so two tickets for £2.50.

It would be rude not too..
The powerball is nothing like that amount this week. $106 million = £81ish million.
