To all of those who are celebrating.

We will be having our party on Sunday. Finest Indian food, diabetes inducing sweets, "weapons grade" fireworks and a beer or two.

Celebrated with the wife and friends on Wednesday night in Dubai, the wife celebrated it with her sister and parents in Delhi last night.

A nice peaceful weekend at home for me.

How about explaining what Diwali is, then we can all have an excuse to indulge.

Some very impressive fireworks in Reading last night. Happy Diwali.

A client arrived yesterday with some Kesar (?? Spelling??), that will be my sweet intake sorted for the next year! Only a few left and it would be rude not to have them for breakfast smile

I'm more grumpy. Why do we have to have fireworks after 9pm? Those with kids and animals not celebrating get a litte irateted at 11pm.

Same goes for Bomfire night....

I was in Brum last night, and wondered what all the fireworks were about.

Shame I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy them.

Happy Diwali! Hope people enjoyed - we had a mini banquet at work yesterday to celebrate with the team - Samosa-tastic smile

Sadly, hardly saw / heard any fireworks last night.
