I just saw that on the Telegraph too, and came to see if there was a thread running yet.

To compare us to Mumsnet is like comparing the Telegraph to the Daily Mail. I don't think the Telegraph would welcome that comparison, just like I don't welcome the comparison to Mumsnet.

But, otherwise, yes it was a fair article.

Indeed. The article definitely references the more fluffy Netmums rather than barbed vipers of Mumsnet.

The headline refers to Mumsnet, and the article itself refers to Netmums.

The article said Netmums, not Mumsnet.

...so that's alright then.

Edited : Beaten to it.

That really confused me. Mumsnet/Netmums. There’s a subeditor at the Telegraph not doing a very good job …

Daily Telegraph article said:
All of these are subsections of a much bigger haunt known as The Pie And Piston, PistonHeads’ virtual pub. It’s a lively, friendly place where members tend to watch each other’s backs.

A few. Some spikey comments slung both ways.

However, I do believe the bottle of vitriol is more liberally sprayed between netmums and mumsnet.

Don't click the link!

It looks like the telegraph site has just been hacked by someone claiming to be "The Syrian Electronic Army" and may become a malware risk.
