They have, however, picked up that total arse, XJ Flyer's, posts about repatriation of immigrants.
And presumably haven't noticed that he gets argued with. They have, however, picked up that total arse, XJ Flyer's, posts about repatriation of immigrants.
One of the nice things about PH moderation is how little censorship there is - people who make arses of themselves get robustly argued back with. Look at how many comments are removed in The Guardian's Comment Is Free section.

Exactly - everyone of every political persuasion argues with the idiot (although I don't know why we bother).
...because nobody on here seems to know how to deal with trolls?Zod said:

You've singled out XJF, who I remember from him being a complete arse on a Le Mans thread. He got ripped to shreds. IF you want, you could selectively quote that "people on PH" want to go over to Le Sarthe and ignore French laws, and treat the place badly. However, "people on PH" also called the bloke out and suggested he was welcome to stay at home and let us go and enjoy France as respectful visitors.
Sadly, you rarely see balanced views on article comment sections - they're not really the place for that sort of thing - only extreme viewpoints get enough "up votes" or "down votes" to stay on the first page...

That is the best thing about when people go somewhere looking for an outcome, and get it. If people go to Mumsnet looking for "nest of vipers", they find it. If they come here looking for EDL people, they find them.

It's like how cyclists always see the worst motorists, motorists always see the worst horse riders, and all permutations of "horse riders", "motorists", "bikers" and "cyclists". It's sadly the way of things. You've singled out XJF, who I remember from him being a complete arse on a Le Mans thread. He got ripped to shreds. You make a very pertinent point though.

Oh no, you've done it now!! Where is that bloke with the old Alfa who chimes in on every single thread mentioning a cycle to claim we're all bds? You make a very pertinent point though.
Just Noted I have been on Pistonheads nearly 11 years. In those Days Harry Flashman's threads were hilarious accounts of his mostly successful seductions of various women, and his unsuccessful attempts, (or not) to keep them or stop them meeting each other. Now I check his latest thread and he is trying to find a seamstress to make curtains. In my day this were all fields........

Things change as we become older (and potentially "wiser"); we settle down - there's only so much shirt chasing to be had. Nothing stays still/the same - that's expected. Life goes on.
