Absolutely.

Up until yesterday, I didn't realise the Grand National was held at Aintree.

My ex girlfriend once said, I'm going to get a nose job so our kids don't inherit my nose.

Another time, shortly after watching Judge Judy, she exclaimed how anyone could possibly call their son "Plaintiff"

Talking with the Mrs before the Grand National and think it was Balthazar King :-

Me : I don't think a 14 year old has won the national before.
Her : What the Jockey is only 14 years old.

Well in an age when an F1 driver can be 17, is it really a daft question?

whilst singing the thomas the tank engine theme tune the other day, I sang

"they're 2, they're 4, they're 6, they're 8, shunting trucks and hauling freight"

to my wife and little girls.

I then said, would you like to know why, 2, 4, 6, 8..........

"it refers to the amound of driven wheels they have, not the amount of wheels they actually have"

my wife"- oh that means my car has 4 then, its 4 wheel drive then"

no- yours is only two wheel drive

wife, but it has 4 wheels.....oh.........

I stand to be firmly correctly by train buffs.

Never mind all this guff about numbers and wheels. What's the score with the "They're the really useful crew" line? One of them's always causing an explosion, or getting derailed, or upsetting some sheep/farmer. Useless sods, I'd have them all melted down and turned in to Austin Maestros.

One of the trains in Chuggington is called Coco.

I explained this to Lady Ace but she didn't care.

Every day is a schoolday! I thought it was because they showed 2,then 4,then 6 ,then 8 engines on screen!
But how do you get a 0-2-0 engine?
