Knows the colours & buys paint from Farrow & Ball

Has lighting & heating in the garden and patio areas

Has a kitchen that was design & commissioned by a boutique company

Has absolutely no idea of the monthly household bills or the costs of the grocery shopping

Has a vague idea of the cost of the kid's schooling, and knows the names of their additional private tutors

Has almost as many pairs of sunglasses as watches

Collects Lego Technics for the house's dedicated office / man-cave

Has at least one original artwork signed by the artist

At least one pair of Hunter wellingtons within the household

Has at least one bottle of Ruinart always in the wine-cooler chilled ready

Can't recall quite how many radiators his house has

Is wondering what he really wants to do for a living, but feels rather trapped by current role & success

(great thread and many of the posts certainly hit the nail on the head with me)

Anyway...

(Going by the shoe thread)-Has a shoe tree and all the creams to keep the Loakes in tiptop condition.
Thinks 500 quid is a bargain for a meal for 2.

Finds Selfridges & Co too cheap and Harrods too full of riff-raff and tourists, so heads to Burlington Arcade for a more personal service. One cannot buy Crockett & Jones in Harrods anyway.

Gotta take advantage of that 10% a year offering. I mean what else can you do with the money right?

Glad to oblige.I think old threads should be resurrected occasionally, although it gets some flack sometimes.
I just did not like to see 'council' race away and get all the glory.

Talks about "pulling the trigger" on a hot hatch lease for months whilst waiting for the PH nod that his is a good deal. Then buys a 12 year old mx5 instead & declares leasing as people living beyond their means
