That's sort of my point. I suspect the leaded/unleaded is rather similar but for mechanics. It's a theoretical problem which has an expensive fix that you probably don't need.

When I had a 60's car, I ran it on unleaded. If I were doing starship mileage or long track days, then I might have had the head rebuilt.

Why, when you've eaten a burger, no matter what or how much you've eaten after it, when you burp it tastes of burger

I am having an argument with my some about London buses.

He claims I cannot use my contactless debit card for paying for me and him on the bus for the same journey?

He does not have contactless so is claiming he has to go to a ticket office to be able to get a travel card.

Surely I can pay for two people with my card?
How does he not have contactless?

Make him pay for himself.

How old is he?

Depends on what you mean by "real". I found a real but not particularly significant problem with a command and control system which would have listed alerts in the wrong order - should have been most recent first, whereas due to using only two digits, ones from 00 would have been listed after ones from 99. Would only have been a serious issue if the screen had filled up.

If Volvo have succeeded in creating a short straight-6 (1 mm shorter than their straight-5 nerd), why hasn't anyone engineered a short straight-8? Perfectly balanced, incredibly smooth and (presumably) cheaper to make than a V8 - one cylinder bank / head / one exhaust manifold etc.

Volvo SI6 (3.2)
A straight six is more balanced than a straight eight. 2 pistons at each 120 degrees, 2 at TDC, each pair being matched distance from the centre of the crank front to back
Plus everything has a turbo on it these days and turbos suit 3 and 6 cylinders better than any other.

If you said CDs, me. Drink has usually been involved when I decide to buy stuff like the entire back-catalogue of Marillion, or Springsteen or...

I'm sure that I now have better stock than they have!

Just back from holiday.

The the ePassport scanners that you have to stare into at security check your image against the one in your passport or one saved back at HQ?
On re-entry to the UK, does the scan check against the original image submission or the one you made on exit?

Just wondering as I am now sporting some fine facial hair which is not featured in my passport photo.
All scans worked btw, no issues!

it will measure things like distance and angles of cheek bones, eyes, chin and nose so beards etc won't fool or fail it.

As you don’t make one on exit it has to be the original submission!

Most of the working mobile phones end up in Africa being sold into the local market.

Games and Music get sold onto CeX and similar high street retailers.

Objection, your Honour!

What is an itch, and why do we believe that scratching it will relieve it, when such action usually inflames the area and makes things worse?

Wasn't sure if it recorded the exit image /data and compared it with entry.

How do Google instruct their street view drivers? Is it a case of just chucking them the keys and go for a drive? I ask as I've noticed when you look on Google maps on chrome that some local streets have multiple regular visits - May 2017, July 2017 etc for example, and others close by of a similar status have not been done for years!
Some streets near where I live have never been done, which I find strangely odd now.
