Once a day without doubt. Used to get a bit of hammer from the in-laws as they thought it was weird. I'm in there for about 4 or 5 minutes and feel fresh as a daisy. Also probably get a bath once a week, usually a weekend. Girlfriend will shower every other day with maybe two baths thrown in. When I did 12 hour shifts two showers was pretty normal.

Yeah, the poor kid is going to recognise that smell when he gets his first girlfriend and tell her she smells like a flannel.

I used to shower maybe 3-4 times a week but that was because I was working in a sales job
Yeah, you don't want to overdo it.

Dermatologists state that showering daily with hot water isn't good for your skin.

However, I like to shower daily otherwise I just feel wrong.
That's good, we only have cold water in our house. More evidence to support my claim we don't need a water heater...... clap

This.
First thing every morning without fail.
Another in the evening if going out, or if it's been a hectic/hot/whatever day.

This is the correct answer.

Clearly people need to keep clean, and physical activity, a hot day etc may necessitate an extra wash, but showering two times every day doesn't give your skin a chance to look after itself.

Once a day in winter, twice a day in summer (cold showers), or twice a day if going to the gym or playing rugby.

I wonder it this is why they wear so much perfume.

Doesn't surprise me, I find most women to be filthy troglodytes. Yes there are exceptions. Just look at the state of their cars interiors!! Or go in the bathroom after them.

I honestly don't buy the 'I don't have the time' excuse.

Get up 15 minutes earlier, it won't kill you.

What she is saying is 'I prefer sleep to not honking'

Are you sure it's perfume and not a pest repellant?

When I met the Mrs; 24 odd years ago, she showered/bathed once a week, I soon changed that, however she still only baths/showers ever other day.

I on the other hand have to have a shower every morning without fail; it wakes me up and I feel all horrible if I don't have one, I may have a second; when back from work, if we are going out in the evening.

Not sure if serious. Those statistics seem a bit fishy to me.

Doesn't seem like such a big deal to me. Obviously it depends on a few different factors but I can imagine some situations where it wouldn't be such a big deal. Every other day that is, any more infrequent than that is a bit grim regardless of circumstances.

Regarding fishy fannies I doubt for most women the smell would be at all noticeable within 48 hours unless someone had their face in it, and for most relationships I've been in neither person gets head unless they have showered. So seems like a bit of a non issue for me. I have been known to skip the occasional shower if circumstances allow.

Is it always pre-planned in your diary too, for the 21:00-21:30 slot on a Friday? tongue out

Ok so that was a bit of a generalisation but the point was spontaneous head can be as grim after a long hot day when someones been working hard as it can be after two cool/cold days of someone not doing much.

I just think all these people going on about fishy fanny are massively overreacting, it depends on the person and what they have been doing*.

* Again, there I'm generally talking about people that shower every other day. A very small number of people might be able to get away with every three days depending on circumstances but yeah, it tends to get nasty after that.

I've never understood this thing about women having squeaky clean bathrooms and all that, like you say, women's are toilets are usually fkin' disgusting st holes, in most every country I have been to.
