Where do you buy plain, short-sleeved T-shirts, which don't shrink in the wash to show your stomach?

Don't mind a small breast logo...

I too suffer from this affliction. I've found that either Firetrap t-shirts are of good length and don't shrink and most importantly, don't break the bank. Cue chav remarks.

I suffer with the same. Long body and little legs laughlaughlaugh

I just stick with plain T-shirts from H&M, GAP or buy bulk from Fruit of the Loom etc. Cheap enough so once you've washed them a few times and they've shrunk you can chuck them and buy new ones.. Although you get the odd few which never shrink and last for years.

As far as good makes which last, I find I can buy two of the same make/style and they be completely different fit - so it's an annoying case of trying each and every item on. American Apparel and All Saints are good in length if you're not a fat lad. thumbup

only if you're a midget! If you're <ahem> more generously proportioned like me (aka fat bd!) then this is not the shop you are looking for

Regrettably I am anything but svelte and I can assure you that their Supapima XL t-shirts fit a 44L (46L on a bad day!) very well.

hmmmm - may have to revisit one. I'm sure I went to one about 3/4 years ago and their 'large' stopped at w34/36

It wasn't available in all designs, but was in the staples.

Next are good . For every day cheap as chips T shirts I find Tesco ones are good length. If you are shrinking them then dont put them on a hot wash. Being a cheapskate I have some Tesco T shirts that must be 3 years old now and still fine. Just do them on 30 Deg wash.

All of my clothes used to shrink within a few months, worked out that my mother in law was popping round when we were out and doing a few washes to help out, all on 90 Deg then sticking them in the tumble dryer on high temp setting. That will shrink anything .

There is a consolation. Long bod + little legs = perfect fit for Italian car driving position.

LL Bean. Gets round the problem with their 'carefree unshrinkable tee', which, as the name suggests, doesn't shrink in the first place.

Plus, you can order them in a tall size.
