Morning all and what a gawgus hot day it is. smile

Unsurprisingly Milo our St Bernard is less enthusiastic...Fortunately it's cool in the house during the day with all the blinds closed and his morning walk now starts at 5:30am while it's still cool, although I've had to cut out his afternoon and evening walks.
Both Milo and Marley had a paddle in the river this morning to cool off. smile

I'm very hairy so can sympathise smile

Morning

I've been awake since 8, but I'm stuck in bed next to a sleeping husband (mine!) who has a hangover & a cat sleeping on me!

I'm hungry, the cat is going to get upset! (Husband will forgive me once he smells bacon)

Good morning. Presently I am in the city of Glasgow, I was disappointed somewhat with the lightning display, that is, none.

Is it more picturesque than Pollockshaws? I was there yesterday and it made me weep.

It's often referred to as the most deprived part of Western Europe.

I'm very happy here!

Good morning campers!
I woke up to this view from the bedroom window this morning

Another "Village Day" dawns!
That means I'll have to get out and get all the shopping done early before they close the road at 10:00! frown
PD, one quick question if you don't mind,

do you tuck your TVR up in 'bed' at night with a drip tray and a likkle drink of oil and a stroke of it's 'ear' and say, in the same way that a child says ' 'night teddy ', night night babes smile

No!
She doesn't drink oil and doesn't need a drip tray!.
I just tuck her in and then tell her fairy stories... Like the one where the Russian Prince saves the English car factory! wink

With all the pain and misery in this wretched world, ponder, pontiifcate on this tale of unremitted love:

My 6 month old son gives me a boner.

Good news biggrin

Since when was Birmingham "the other side of the country" from MK/Bedfordshire confused I spend a lot of work time in Bedford and MK; it's not too bad a trip from Brum.

Bishops Stortford (a recent visit) is a complete pita to drive to irked
It's far enough at 19 (as he was) when Mother is home with younger children, cat, dogs, ducks, chickens, a job... I'm closer to Cambridge. I'll take the A14/M6 tonight. It's easy enough, when I have the time! Out at some launch party tonight (oh the life of a celeb) and on to Manchester tomorrow, guests of Björk tomorrow night, hotel, home Monday night.
