Or cake à la mode as we call it round our house. There's a lot of American influence round here. Mrs C's first hubby was in the USAF and the girls were brought up here and in the States. Another speciality is Greenham Fried Chicken. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

Her only criticism of the cake was that it needed icing on top as well as in the middle.

In my haste I made the same amount of icing as for the MkI cake forgetting to allow for the two slices already eaten. Lots of freshly made chocolate icing currently available in Newbury.

The boot liner I acquired for the Discovery was for a Series 3 & 4 not a Series 1 & 2. So after using it the wrong way round all the time I had my Discos, I've finally got round to selling it.
