A friend is panicking as we are going to a restaurant with us tomorrow and we didn't realise it is down three floors and has only got a spiral staircase. She is so scared of these that it takes her at least 30 seconds for each step.

There are few first world vicissitudes that life can throw at you that can't be adequately mitigated by a lamination of sliced baked goods and cured pig.

The word of the day is foudroyant.

Milliways, the restaurant at the end of the universe core of the earth? Perhaps suggest a blindfold and a firm grip of the bannister.

I think they're just confused and it's all a load of Arrabiata, myself.

I had another disagreement with a Travis Perkins yard bloke...irked

He seriously expected me to queue behind 2 other lorries to deliver a 12 inch roll of veneer edging.

I'd already taken it in the shop anyway but I was just asking to drive into his yard to turn round.

So I reversed out onto West Hampstead main street.

Not dangerous at all !.....rolleyes

That's 2 TP yards I'm refusing to go back to now....hehe

I could never understand why ABS meant Anti Lock Brakes. It doesn't. It means A Bacon Sandwich.
