Arrived today
No real need for it but no man can resist a gadget especially at this price.
I even used their discount code and got it for less:

I got one of these from Amazon a while ago, the picture on screen doesn't look as good as that though, does yours? No real need for it but no man can resist a gadget especially at this price.

I did however use it to look in my ears which just has to be done, you know, testing, ahem.
Tested it by inspecting my tonsils, the my ears
Got to be done in the name of science

Despite my various old torches working perfectly well, I've just spent about 2x the value of each torch on an LED upgrade bulb to replace its filament one...
So, it arrived today and I tried it, after one last go with the feeble filament bulb currently in the torch. JEEEEEEZUS H fkING CHRIST ON A POGO STICK!! Nearly melted my eyeballs when I made the mistake of looking into it!10/10 would recommend!

Well the 3d printer is starting to look a bit more like something more than a pile of parts
Incase anyone is curious it is one of these - http://www.gearbest.com/3d-printers-3d-printer-kit...
I have zero need for one but for that price i could not resit getting one to see what they are like
I know this is the frivolous thread -- but what are you actually going to print?Incase anyone is curious it is one of these - http://www.gearbest.com/3d-printers-3d-printer-kit...

And the good news is that it works
Yes i know its a boring thing to do as a first print but it shows that it works
Making lego technic custom parts!
I dont have any lego technic models, but if i did...
I actually have a joke about 3d printing. I'll let you know when I get it to work.
The wife got me a little indoor quadcopter from one of those gadget shops for christmas. On christmas day I dutifully got it out and played with it, but after the first recharge, wouldnt work again. As the battery indicator light kept flashing.
Very dissapponted, we agreed that it would be better if I got a better quality one... £300+ later I have a full FPV racing drone with a pair of goggles... not even got chance to use it in anger yet as the weather has been so poo.

Yesterday I bought 4 U2 tickets at Twickenham. Cost me close to 1k. I don't really mind U2 but the rest of the family have never heard of them or listened to them before.
Anyway done now, so at least it will be a decent Summer concert.

Bad weather you say, what you need to compliment this is an indoor racing drone. After all you've got the goggles and a controller already. I've just done the same and am loving it, also buy some super glue.Very dissapponted, we agreed that it would be better if I got a better quality one... £300+ later I have a full FPV racing drone with a pair of goggles... not even got chance to use it in anger yet as the weather has been so poo.

I genuinely considered buying a tiny whoop instead, but then thought that they're so small, you can only really fly them in the house, and once you've done that a few times, then it'd probably get put in a draw/cupboard and forgotten about. I tried flying the rodeo in the house but honestly, it's pretty dangerous and responsive up in the air. It is actually very small, I just think its too powerful for indoor flying, unless you have a warehouse available...

Got a link?
What pods does this use? Krups?
It's a Nespresso. There's a couple of clues in the picture. Good machines. What pods does this use? Krups?
I take it these are better than Nescafe Dolce Gusto machines?(girlfriend has one of those)
Is it only Nespresso pods it takes then? WTF is the Krups all about? I have literally no idea!
I've tried all the different pod systems (nespresso, dolce gusto, tassimo, etc.), and for me the nespresso pods are the best. The machines are also pretty cool with various types to suit the type of coffee you drink - for example, the inissia posted above is perfect for espresso or Americano drinkers. I like latté and frothy milk coffees as well so bought a latissima plus which has a detachable milk carafe you keep in the fridge. One button and it'll make the perfect latte or cappuccino every time. Or, as mentioned you could go for a 'and milk' machine which bundles an espresso machine with a milk frother...
There's a fairly long thread on the food and drink forum about them, including a chap overseas who works for them.
The buy a manual if you're likely to buy the knock off pods.
