Their price hikes across the board were insane. It's a real shame as they weren't particularly cheap to start with, but now you just feel you are being ripped off!

Just bought a cheap hatchet and a magnesium fire steel on eBay. No idea why, I've got good versions of both already, but I guess they'll be fine to chop the odd stick to throw on the fire pit.

My General obsession with all things Half Life related resulted in this very weighty tome being delivered yesterday.

It makes for fascinating reading, and it's made me start playing half life 2 again!

The wife will probably kick me out very soon!

Love Half Life 2, played through it so many times on so many different devices, such an amazing game. Looks like an interesting book.

I can think of no logical reason to buy it but this would be a frivolous purchase

This may sound utterly ridiculous but I bought a Canada Goose Snow Mantra parka last night. They retail for £1,300 and the top of the tree as far as CG are concerned. I managed to get it, brand new, boxed, unopened for little over £600 from a friend who knows people in the right places (yes, it's a real one) with a plan to flip it for a profit. They do appear to have been selling for around £900-950 on eBay. I hope this works, else I'm going to be lumbered with a completely redundant piece of very expensive clothing for quite a long time.

Now that I've typed that, I'm feeling slightly worried.

50 pocket squares? 5-0? 50?

That's something my ex wife would do.

Why did your wife wear pocket squares?

To go with the trousers.

And the Council one
thumbup Top council I am. I eat Pot Noodles whilst watching Life on Benefits on my 65" TV that's probably too big for the room. I lose council points for it not being hung on the wall though, but I'm not vulgar.

As for the teeth itch thread, from that perspective it does look like the pictures are wrong but they are actually the right distance and equally spaced from the wall and side of the unit on the right.

Prime is lethal, I let the free trial continue this time and it's starting to get addictive, especially combined with pretty much anything on this whole forum. Haynes Millennium Falcon manual being the latest purchase (following some finger spinners for the kids today), narrowly avoided buying some Guy Allen prints earlier in the week.
