No idea why, it was on sale for only £8 ...... not going to show my cleanliness obsessed wife or take it with me when I go away to hotels ...
Your fault. Just bought one.
I want one of these. Primarily for sts and giggles, also to gross out at hotel rooms but if I go on holiday, worth taking for viewing security stuff in UV ink, but also for checking under the bed for scorpions. Scorpions glow under black light and if you're in a country with those nasty buggers it makes it easier to find them.

Yep... scorpion detector. Ideal fathers day gift.

It doesn't, there's a cable plugged in.

The website says it can do either/or. I've subscribed and requested to join the closed FB page. I'll post up price when they announce it smile

It can charge wirelessly, yes, but surely that only applies to phones which have wireless charge capability? Which does not include the iPhone.

I guess it means it can wirelessly charge compatible devices or use a cable for non wireless devices.

C & P from Twitter - Charge your phone on-the-go with #Volterman. Fully charge your #iPhone or any other smartphone both wirelessly and with a built-in cable.

Just badly written I guess but I've just found these online http://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/iphone/how-wirele...

So maybe it will integrate something similar.

Already got mine, the John Lewis team obviously weren't told about the release date so mine was ready Sunday. No time to build it yet.

You can actually find scorpions in the uk using black light (saw it on a TV show). They were at a shipping port down south, shining UV torches at south facing walls in the dark. Think they found some pretty dangerous ones - small pincers, big, fat stinger.

Also very useful for finding golf balls in the dark.

Damn you eBay and all your sub £3 electronic modules. Who would have thought I need a Wi-Fi module, DTMF module, LED module, GPRS module and the list is growing.

A laser thermometer. No, I don't know why. What I do know, however, is the precise temperature of everything, living or otherwise, in line of sight of my chair...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N7FGBFS
Purchased at 2105 this evening. Prime delivery is scheduled for tomorrow (monday). In fact ordered two, one as a present.
Arrived at 1130 this morning. I can confirm the pet rabbits have an external temperature of 18.5 degrees. Great fun. Will be useful.
Mine arrived today as well. I'm happy to report the wife's arse was 4 degrees less than her right tit.
No no no no no.... must not look.... no need whatsoever for this... No. No.
Yup, bought. Also, the guys that sit near me are also now waiting for theirs to be delivered.
Mine has just arrived and I can confirm that the dog is 2 degrees warmer than the cat and that some body parts are considerably warmer than others.

I shall never get bored of this new toy

I've just ordered this. I'll probably only use it once then bury it in the garage but I want one.

Noice.

Are there special techniques with such a weapon? I have often thought of buying one, but am a little cack-handed - worried I'd go down to the undercoat.
