Looking for a bit of help here please lads, I think somebody posted a good few months ago a link to a website that offered paintings of custom lego mini figures - you know, football kits, sports uniforms, fishing gear etc. I know plenty of places do the figures but these did a sort of custom character print
I've trawled back through the thread and I can's find it, googling doesn't bring the site that I want I'm starting to think I imagined it.
Can anybody help? Did they post it please?
thanks fellow frivolousers

Here you go, this is her website : https://toysrart.co.uk/pages/about-us
Cross post from the gaming sub forum, but was frivolous, as a pair of normal headphones that I was using would do..(also including amazon links encase anyone wants to see the various things/save googling.)
I wanted some decent headphones so I can game and listen to music on both my PC and Xbox. After a lot of research, all the mass market headsets (phones and mic combos) are sub par quality/over priced and I ended up buying some Beyerdynamic dt990s.
I got the 32ohm versions, however I'm also aware the 250's could be powered by the Xbox too without an amp.Just encase I also got a portable audio pass through amp, the Fiio A3.
As I wanted to have them as a proper headset, I added a ModMic, which is an attachable boom mic. Been told that my mic is a lot clearer and crisper with less interference (both sound leak and electrical) than using the standard Xbox headset, so that's a win.
Join both the Mic and headset cables together using a connector such as this Sennheiser one and plug them directly into the bottom of the Xbox controller if you have a 'S', or get the Xbox headset adapter..
In order to neaten it up, I got some braided sleeving and added some heat shrink to both ends, giving a professional "shop bought" finish. I'll take some photos later if anyone wants to see the final outcome.

WiFi at home has been dropping occasionally. Probably just the router dieing as it's getting on a bit and was one I was testing from work. I could have brought home one of the 2 spares I have in work but instead bought a ubiquiti lite WiFi disc thing for 80 quid
I picked up a couple of their UAPs a few months ago, bloody brilliant.Shnozz said:
Might be a good thread to post this oddly but any recommendations for some in-ear style noise cancelling headphones (with phone compatibility)?
I fly a fair bit and want something to drown out plane noise as well as use walking around town.
I had the Bose QC20i. Very, very good for flying. I sadly left them on a plane a week ago so I am looking too.I fly a fair bit and want something to drown out plane noise as well as use walking around town.
The problem I had with the QC20 was that it was confused by sudden changes in air pressure. It would manufacture a counter-sund, even when it was just a pressure change - creating a sudden loud "bang". This made it impossible to wear on overground trains with the noise cancelling on. However, they were so good, I kept them just for flying (which I do a lot).
I'm going to try a pair of these for a few flights we have coming up:

Potnentially I'm going to need a new router soon, what's so good about these?
According to one of the tech websites, letting these handle the WiFi side of things rather than the router makes things work better. Know idea how true that is but since setting it up I've had zero drops on any device even when signal has been as low as it goes. Pages load noticeably quicker. I was considering changing my bus hub 5 to a draytek but tried this instead and saved 200 quid.AstonZagato said:

That is absolutely awesome. I've always wanted one and bought a new Supra instead all those years ago. A better decision at the time, as they were notoriously unreliable and I used my Supra as an every day car doing 130,000 trouble free miles before I sold it.What year and if you don't mind how much did you pay?
Steve
I've wanted one for ages, since I was a kid and saw one on Top Gear.
There's a few online for sale - I got a bargain I think. A few years ago they were worth a lot less, but now they are creeping up in value.
Oh yeah, and it's 1997 model
