Nice, I've had a few tables, currently just got Batman TDK in the garage, tempted to flog it as it hardly gets any play now. OH won't have it in the house due to the noise (although she does like the odd game).

Yeh prices are a bit mad, TDK will break even roughly if I sell it now, but stuff with recent films like yours or Star Wars have gone a bit bonkers.

Other stuff is pretty steady, pretty much broke even on trades with PoTC, STTNG, W?, DH (great pin) and LW

Think I've scratched the pinball itch (did the midlands league for a couple of years), so tempted to cash in and put the money towards a weekend car. Problem is Batman plus a RD350 I never use would make me a nice 986, but both items aren't depreciating and the RD is increasing in value faster than my cash savings, so til I get some more spare cash I'm a bit reluctant.

Wait, this is frivolous purchases thread, must buy something! :-)

I flew on that very aircraft to New York many years ago! I've a photo somewhere.

Hoping orders will open up next week smile justified this one as an investment although I will buy two, one for me to keep and one to sell in 3-5.

I don't think it'll be much of an investment tbh, plenty of people are doing it now so the market is saturated compared to 2007, they'll make more of these, and the last few out of print sets I've sold have gone for pretty much what I paid for them.

<psst!> right click the image and select 'Search Google for image', click on the link to the luggage tabs website. If you are not using Google Chrome, then other options are available.

That and everyone is buying the knock off versions now for a lot less!

Picked up this last night.

Certainly don't need it, especially as meant to be saving for an Elise.

Just bought one of these on eBay

Risk 40th anniversary edition.

Mainly because it has metal pieces.

Over £120 including shipping so not a disaster.

I've got quite a lot of aluminium offcuts left over from trimming the skin on Sea King cockpit back.......

Was looking to relive my youth - get somethng cheap to strip and track.... then found this, a few questions in the history that actually seeing the documentation with it put my mind to rest... but think it's to good to butcher - totally standard, 1 owner and only 41,000 miles - been in store for a while so belts etc being done straight away... being dropped off on Tues... so frivolous as will probably still have to buy the one to strip and track...

I have this piece of the 747 'Juan J Trippe', which for many years was an abandoned restaurant, then was torn down. I managed to salvage this jagged piece, which I have no idea what I ever intend to do with. Any suggestions? It is incredibly sharp.

And the build is as dull as fk. And that's coming from a massive Star Wars AND Lego fan. The endless sea of grey has kind of dulled my interest in ANY lego for the foreseeable... frown

I've just accidentally bought a twin Xeon X5355 server motherboard that has 16 DIMM slots and can take up to 64GB of ECC DDR2 RAM to go in a 12 bay full tower case that I already own.

(In other news, I'll shortly be selling an HP N54L Microserver with 8GB RAM)

Started thinking that my home cinema speakers could do with some more grunt.. Noticed Monitor Audio silver series were half price and more off in Richer sounds due to new silver series coming out soon.

So, I did what anyone with a fairly small front room would do..
Pair of Monitor Silver 2's,
Pair of Monitor Silver 8's Floor standers,
and a Monitor silver center speaker all in lovely walnut.

Collected this today.

Didn't need one, or want one, came up at a very cheap price as it needs some work, so I thought why not.
