Picked up a couple of diecast truck sets that i sold for a nice profit, now these ave arrived while i went a little mad at an auction at the weekend
InterestingDoes the corgi billy smart circus stuff go for decent money (first reissue in the 90s)? I've got a load of that which has never been out the box.

Frivolous indeed, but I am strangely drawn to a fully functioning 7 inch Mini Laptop:

I've got one on the way now to live in the car https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_613003.html
Sim card slot
SD card slot (mini/micro/etc)
Then its truly a mobile pocket book thingy.

There's some comment on it over at El Reg. Certainly looks appealing, and being able to dual boot between Droid and Debian looks like a geek's wet dream.

If it uses the Nespresso capsules, rather than the new discs, then a lot of supermarkets are now stocking Nespresso-compatible capsules which give you even more choice. There are loads of branded ones and also own-brand. The Aldi and Lidl offerings are actually quite drinkable and a lot cheaper than genuine Nespresso.
(I realise this advice is contrary to the spirit of the thread)
Edit: You can also get refillable capsules, so you can put whatever espresso coffee you want in them. Some are in stainless steel which is very much in keeping with the spirit of the thread).
Cheers mate, it does take the pods so I will have a look at them if and when I get through the 150 pods that arrive tomorrow. (I realise this advice is contrary to the spirit of the thread)

I've realised that I need some sort of cup so that I can take a coffee in the car so the frivolous spending hasn't finished yet.

Might as well just buy a Chinese tablet for ~£75 and connecting keyboard / case for ~£25.

Possibly, proper toy auctions can vary wildly. Some of what i've bought i've seen sell for more than twice what i paid. Best bet is www.vectis.co.uk They'll give you a valuation and if needed sell it for you. Does the corgi billy smart circus stuff go for decent money (first reissue in the 90s)? I've got a load of that which has never been out the box.
