How does this RED thingy work, how are the two channels separated for viewing 3D content ?
Active, passive, lenticular ? Special glasses needed ? Resolution ? Refresh rate (Hz) ?
Diffractive Lightfield Backlighting Active, passive, lenticular ? Special glasses needed ? Resolution ? Refresh rate (Hz) ?

I have taken a look at that page but my questions remain unanswered by it.
I am a bit sceptical because over the last 30 years every now and then a "3D device without glasses" is announced,
only to disappoint when viewed and then quickly forgotten and taken off the market.
Lenticular works somehow with linear prisms, in the right viewing angle, but then you lose half the resolutuion,
so I will have to wait and see how this turns out.

If you watch the YouTube links I posted it explains it. That guy focussed more on the modularity and the sensor for the camera.
That's what red are really famous for- the sensors in their 8k weapon cameras, and the modularity. Real team overkill stuff. http://eu.red.com/products/weapon-8k
$40k... ouch!
Essentially you will be able to have a high end film making camera in your pocket.

How many have you got now ?? just asking for a friend..... who might have hundreds.
I put >30 in a charity collection recently as I add more every year to my heavily laden drawer units.Le Mans, typically +5
U.S sports events, probably another 5 or 6 a year
Concerts, same...
Probably wouldn't matter if I could wear them all, but I wear a shirt and tie to work!
