That’s probably pretty fair!

To be honest we’ve been having a lot of fun with him!

Watching him try to learn how to climb the stairs is hilarious!

He failed of course, but fun seeming him try, his little legs trying to reach out is well funny!

Yeah that’s a good analogy!

The app for control is good too, not played with the SDK yet, will try that later today,

Can't decide whether I need a Google home / Amazon alexa... at the moment it would be used for Playing music/radio and setting timers in the kitchen

In the future I want a hive/Nest... And maybe the lamps in the front room need smart lightbulbs.

With bettertouchtool I have configured my Magic Mouse to do all of the gestures that I can on my MacBook Air trackpad but some of the four finger swipes are a bit tricky on a sliding mouse! Tempted to treat myself to the trackpad for when the MBA is connected to the TV.

Took the kids to Smyths Toys and had to buy this for me. Having tipped all the parts into a box, it looks like it may take some time to build:

Bought our teenage son a set of JBL Bluetooth headphones for Xmas for 40 quid, wife liked the sound out of them so I offered to buy her a pair as she likes listening to music while walking the dog. As I can never find any head phones when I need them I thought I might as well get a pair myself for the odd occasion I get the train to work. I don't have any music on my phone as I usually just listen to the radio but it needs the wired headphones for the aerial.
I also only get the train half a dozen times a year as I usually ride a motorbike to work and don't like the distraction of music when riding.
Went to richer sounds to buy them on boxing Day but they were out of stock, offered to order them for collection today but I used Amazon prime instead, realised there would be nobody home so decided not to use next day delivery so won't be delivered until next week instead. Richer sounds is a 10 minute walk from work, where I was today.

My Christmas me to me present was an Anki Cozmo robot. It was on offer for £150 from £200, I had a shopping card from work and nectar points, so in actual money I paid about £20 for it.

Enjoy learning all th fun things little Cozmo can do, we’ve have our original version for over a year now,

Sadly the kids have got bored with him now, so he got packed up and put away before Christmas, should sell him really as he won’t get used again now I suspect.

Sphero SPRK+

Bought this in NYC last week on a whim after an apple store demo and its ace ... the dog is mildly afraid of it and the coding learning is great for a total novice like me, not sure how much actual use it will get though!
