A slightly less frivolous start to March with these:
The cheap Nextbase dashcam on the Shed was playing up and I decided to order the Yi which is recommended by Techmoan: http://www.techmoan.com/blog/2016/2/17/yi-dash-cam... Fortunately there was a code on Amazon and I think I snagged it for around £37. Of course with regular driving in the snow, the Nextbase has corrected itself and is working happily.
I found I never had a screwdriver handy so I ordered this from eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EDC-Outdoor-Tool-Screwd...
It took weeks to arrive from China, but has the 4 screwdriver tips, 2 sizes of hex, a LED torch and a bottle opener. All for the princely sum of £2.52 delivered. Now for £2.52 I thought it would be badly made junk. But no. The packaging and instructions are for CKRT - Columbia River & Tool in the USA - who supply pretty decent stuff. On their website they sell it for $19.99.
Damn you - and my addiction to multitools !! Just ordered 4 of them (1 for each car, and rucksack)The cheap Nextbase dashcam on the Shed was playing up and I decided to order the Yi which is recommended by Techmoan: http://www.techmoan.com/blog/2016/2/17/yi-dash-cam... I got it off eBay but they are in curry’s and Argos
Honestly people are avoiding me at work because they are sick of hearing about it.
Make sure you get the interior bell as well.
Battery level seems up and down. I reckon it’ll be a month between charges,
But I’m dead pleased with it
No.
It’s 3-12 months on a charge.
I’m looking at running a constant USB feed to ours
Not sure about 3-12 months tho.
I reckon 1-3 months
Only takes an hour to charge in any case

Might be a daft question, but isn't a £200 doorbell perhaps at risk of being nicked?
How secure are they, physically and electronically? Could someone just lift it and then hard reset to install it at their house?
The base plate is secured to the wall the unit is then attached via security screws. How secure are they, physically and electronically? Could someone just lift it and then hard reset to install it at their house?
If it’s nicked
A. You get a video of it at least.
B. Ring replace it foc if you have a crime no.
C. It was 100 off eBay with the doorbell and the interior plug in ringer

My turn to contribute to this thread again....
After months of searching for a couple of low mount water bottle cages for the MTB and coming to the conclusion that what I wan't doesn't exist, I've designed my own............
Which has led to the purchase of one of these!

I bought 5 4K TVs last year for £3000 each with a view to try each one and then return the ones I didn’t want.
I missed the return date and now 4 of them are in the garage.
