Looks great, when's the best time to visit the area, weather / midges wise please?

I've driven through Scotland once and would love to go up the west coast camping with the family, but scenes of people covered head to foot in netting puts me off taking the kids...
Avoid mid June to end Sept. Perfect here at the moment, no midges, sod all traffic:

Thats just fab.

Yes... that was from a DJI P3 pro. I now have a P4pro, (which has a better camera).

Check out the video from the p3p... looks astonishing in 4k

Ordered one of these yesterday:

Feels pretty frivolous on the face of it, although it was just shy of 200 quid so loses a few frivolity points I'm sure.... It hopefully arrives tomorrow so time will tell.

Made in Italy now I think.
ironically they were originally made a stones throw from my front door. My aunt and uncle worked there (Uncle actually appeared in one of their adverts).

To be fair most of the Belstaff stuff he does buy is vintage, I know the only new thing he covets is the T Shirt with the original Staffs address on the front but never been able to find it.

Damn....when did you order yours? Mine has an estimated delivery date of another 10 days. If it turns up I'm in trouble as I'm on holiday!
5th of April, it fits through the letterbox.
As the leader of the £3.69 magnets (might have to put that on my CV) I feel (rightly) annoyed not to have received mine yet.

Humph.
Mine's not here yet either - has anyone who ordered received one?

I feel a claim coming on...

Don't check the price of those things then... you'd have a heart attack.

Just checked and mine's due tomorrow... but given it's coming by China Post and the tracking number is invalid, I remain sceptical.

Fortunately it was dirst cheap smile

Is it any good?

Had it a couple of weeks. I used it to go fishing in a drain where the missus had dropped a Lightning McQueen car. Didn't get him, just a load of screws and nails.

She may have sent me to the wrong drain, or the car was made out of Aluminium...

Either way, I've failed.

I don't think I'll be pulling many safes out of the local river with it, but should work for keys and the like...

The car was probably cheap pot metal, magnets won't touch it... the best place to go is round the Jettys and pontoons at marinas, either side of bridges, or at the base of the sea wall if you live at the coast. Mine arrived about 5 days after ordering it - with all sorts of swarf and rivets from the postie's van clinging to the package!
Shame magnets don't pick up gold, imagine the number of rings you'd find in a quick sweep...
