I haven't checked the entire thread, so apologies if this has already been mentioned but.........

I am very very tempted to order one of those electric unicycle things they have in the B&Q advert. Having looked them up, some of them go surprisingly far (~20 miles) and can even reach a terrifying ~20mph!

Anybody got one? I would look like a fat middle aged tt - but the thought of that isn't putting me off.......
Don't go here: www.speedyfeet.co.uk

Plenty of video reviews of them, the owner and someone else did 1000 miles on one of them. Keep in mind some guy got arrested for using one on the street and got 6 points on his driving licence even though you don't need a licence for them... the law can be an arse. 99.9% don't have any issues with the law beyond being interested so I assume the one bad one was doing something stupid.

I keep getting seriously tempted and I'm one glass of wine away from buying one. Walking the dog would certainly be more fun! They are legally restricted to 15mph in the UK but you can switch them to off road mode and go over 20mph.

We had a couple of these up a few years ago...very effective, but very distressing to look at...or catch a whiff of....true Hell on earth for any insect...
After weighing up the options, this bad boy was delivered today in anticipation of the deluge of flies we get in the summer. This, and the relocation of the horse manure heap by our neighbour should see us fly-free and looking like a chip shop.

I bought one of these to stop the mosquitoes here in our first apartment, can confirm they work very well and give off a satisfying crack when one of the little bds get zapped biggrin

I dont need to use it much now after we moved but if ever there is an annoying fly that keeps buzzing around the room/our faces, then this gets turned on and usually within 10 minutes you hear the crack wink

That reminded me of the 1980's Kia Ora advert. So I went looking on YouTube and found it. Oh my goodness, talk about racial stereotypes! I don't think anyone would dare run an advert like that today.
Titter, I do know Dave though( Rennlist I hope)
Yep - looked at your garage. Have you really still got the 964? It was the cleanest of all of ours as I recall!

Stopped at the Bluebird Cafe at Coniston for lunch, came out with a print of a painting of K7, signed by the artist and Gina Campbell. I told my wife it would look nice in my office at work, then I hung it in the house when she wasn't looking. hehe

(My phone has made the frame look wonky).

I have a 4' wide Vettriano on my wall (sadly, not the £1.8 million original)

I need to get some new friends. They are being surprisingly unsupportive of my idea to buy an electric unicycle......
Have a friend who raves about them.... Hes now no longer allowed near his spare one as he tried to zip across a zebra crossing that was flashing (equivalent here) and go hit by a car... how his wife keeps the spare model and hes pinned and plated on elbow

Tab clear!! Used to love that wish they would bring it back.

I also have a strange fascination with old coke cans and bottles and have a few (literally 4-5) odd ball examples.

I'd forgotten that I have a Wyze cam pan turning up today. Frivolous, as I've already got 4 wyze cams, only use 3 and don't really know what I'm going to do with this one.

Edit to add a pic:

I have yes thanks, looks like this now on the inside, which you could say was frivolous as it never really needed doing, but i did it any way...
