I’ll be your friend Dave.....
That reminded me of the 1980's Kia Ora advert. So I went looking on YouTube and found it. Oh my goodness, talk about racial stereotypes! I don't think anyone would dare run an advert like that today. I needed some replacement earphones for walking/running/proving how unfit I am every other evening. Somehow I've lost the set I bought years ago that have done the job fine.
Any set of headphones would do, doesn't need to be anything special, I'll probably lose them or drop them or something anyway. Something cheap and almost throw away.
On the plus side, the app will tell you where you last had them if you lose them, and they do sound incredibly good for Bluetooth earphones. Comfy too and they don't budge at all when running.

Having spent the evening watching video reviews on speedy feet, I'm currently deciding between these two :
Ninebot One E+ (£625):
Or Inmotion V8 - bit faster and goes a bit further, but more expensive at £995 :
Oh, and apparently in the next few weeks the Inmotion V10 will be available.... Even faster (25mph) and even greater range but at £1,395 it may be pushing the budget a tad far. But if it's available at the end of the month..... Maybe.....

I have these. They are brilliant. Apart from the buttons which are stupidly stiff and have very little feedback. And Youtube playback has awful sync issues.Any set of headphones would do, doesn't need to be anything special, I'll probably lose them or drop them or something anyway. But for running/fitness they are the best i've used so far.

I'd forgotten that I have a Wyze cam pan turning up today. Frivolous, as I've already got 4 wyze cams, only use 3 and don't really know what I'm going to do with this one.
Where did you get them shipped from? Are they any good for shouting at the dog from the office when it goes nuts in the house?

I've got some of the regular ones. I noticed a significant drop in network speed when they were connected. Seemed like they were using up all my bandwidth. Are they any good for shouting at the dog from the office when it goes nuts in the house?

My wife bought a pair of these when they first came out. She couldn’t make them work.Any set of headphones would do, doesn't need to be anything special, I'll probably lose them or drop them or something anyway. Something cheap and almost throw away.

I stepped up to the plate...and also couldn’t make them work.
Went to the Bose store, they couldn’t make them work. Tried a new pair and they wouldn’t work either.
No idea what the problem was - all we wanted to do was connect them to her iPhone X - what they are made for surely. Obviously got rid.

I bought the Sony version of these a few weeks a go. Amazing bit of technology really.Any set of headphones would do, doesn't need to be anything special, I'll probably lose them or drop them or something anyway. Something cheap and almost throw away.

The Sony version (WF-1000X) are being included in EE contracts at the moment and there are lots of people selling new pairs on eBay - easily had for around £90 at the moment.

However, in the true spirit of the thread I've ignored being sensible.
Having discussed the options with SpeedyFeet it seemed that the V10 wouldn't really be suitable so I decided that the V8 was the one to go for.
My initial plan to wait until my bonus is paid at the end of the month was a good one - but I've ignored that and just ordered one.
Oh, and to gain extra frivolity points - ignored the five day free shipping option and paid £50 to have it delivered by 1pm on Saturday.
It is a very frivolous purchase, and it may turn out to be something that sits in the shed (or is put on eBay) a few weeks after buying it. But I'm more excited about this turning up than I have been about anything for a while and at the end of the day, that's what counts.

Every time I saw him he was playing with his phone too so obviously not paying full attention to what he was doing though he may well have been filming himself.
Haven't seen him in quite a while so he's either gone home, been killed in traffic or the police have had a word with him.
Hope you have the protective gear already or ordered, I would also recommend at least elbow pads to go with a helmet speaking from experience... cycling accident at normal cruising speeds resulted in a shattered compound broken elbow which is now held together with pins and plates and has some restricted movement! I was lucky that's all that happened to be honest, as I didn't even have a helmet on!
Hasn't put me off an electric skateboard though!

It seems they're not available for UK delivery on their site or Amazon
https://www.amazon.co.uk/iSmartAlarm-ISC5P-SPOT-Flexible-Security-White/dp/B0728GDN6V/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1528369862&sr=8-1&keywords=Wyze+camI don't mind paying $20 for one, but more than $50, nope.
The attraction on the wyzecams is that they're $20.
The pan camera is $30. I suspect that I'm going to mount it upside down under the eaves near the front door so that I can see who is at the door, or point it down the street to watch for deliveries. It's cheap enough that if (when) it gets cooked outside, I won't mind.
I'm US based. I'd recommend something from aliexpress in the UK, instead.

This is worrying! I bought some Bluetooth in ear headphone a couple of weeks ago for running, worn them once, the battery bit flaps about too much for running, I need to try some different ones but they need to be noise isolating.

I also had a pair of leophile zero neckband noise cancellers which did a very good job and sounded superb - hence the frivolity. I’ve gifted those to a mate.
Once I’d worn the Sony’s to the gym a couple of times it was a no brainier. They are ideal for it.
