The price was borderline tolerable but the eight quid on top for shipping to UK tipped the balance of favour. It's really neat tech though - I am impressed!
For those of you asking, it is a Quadzilla RL500. The only details I can find are here: http://www.blitzworld.co.uk/rl-500-i453.html

I remember seeing these when I had my raptor quad, if I remember right there were a couple of people on the quadsuk forum that had one, not been on there in years so not sure how active it is now but you might find some info there in case you need it.Enjoy the buggy! Looks fun!

Thanks Nigel, what issues did you have?
The main issue is with the oil tray system, it’s fine in theory, but you still seem to manage to get oil everywhere. We could also never seem to get things cooked based on what temperature setting was selected on the digital gauge. I suspect the gauge was not as accurate as it needs to be, we always seemed to undercook or overlook, even though we selected the temp setting recommended for the various foods, like chips, onion bahjis and doughnuts.
We always love home made chips on Boxing Day to go with the left over cold meats, but could never get them right with the Tefal fryer, we ended up,going back to an old fashioned chip pan!

Had first go last night. No issues whatsoever. Your issues could have been limited to the Pro as mine doesn't have a digital temp gauge, just a classic knob to change temperature and a light which goes out when the oil is at said temperature. Will give the draining a go after the next couple of uses.
Great stuff! Glad you had a better result than we did! Dyson V10.
Our "old" hoover is only 3 years old, but has a cord.. And the wife thinks it's hard work dragging it around and then unplugging it to do upstairs. I do partly agree it is a bit cumbersome..
Looking at the different models.. V7, V8 or V10. Thought for the difference in money, £100 or so might as well go for the latest and 'biggest'. We've only got 2 rooms, and stairs with carpet.
I'm actually looking forward to giving it a go.

I bought the V7 for £249 and the V10 was more twice that price. Over £500 for a hoover was too rich for me - I thought £249 was bad enough! Our "old" hoover is only 3 years old, but has a cord.. They're pretty cool though. I'm finding myself actually doing some hoovering, as if you see a bad spot it's no big deal to grab the cordless and actually do something about it rather than just putting it off to later.
A little done often is far better than a lot done never.

Well, a week later and I am selling the Note 9.Nothing wrong with it but I prefer having an iPhone so will look to see what the new model has and either get that or the X.
You would have thought I would learn having done the same thing last year (S8+) and the year before that (S7 Edge) but obviously I haven't.

Is it still within the returns window? Perhaps you could get a full refund rather than selling it on at a loss?
Well I am lucky in the that the deal I got enables me to sell it and make a profit.I was paying £15 a month on a sim only with BT.
The new deal was £23 a month on Vodafone with £415 upfront (so an extra £8 a month).
I got a £6 a month reduction on my broadband due to wanting to cancel so this reduces the extra per month to just £2.
The phone can be sold directly back to Samsung for £550 for an instant profit of £135 while I will continue with the VF contract.
£2 per month over 24 months is £48 to a net profit of £87 with pretty much zero effort.
If I sell it privately for the £600 to £700 range, then I have made even more.

Ah well, in that case it is inadmissible for this thread. I was paying £15 a month on a sim only with BT.

Picked up this on Saturday:
Ugears kit. They've come up on here before. I happened to do a search for them on friday, then some targeted advertising came up pointing out I could buy them locally, so I did. They're a very nice kit, very good quality.
I liked it so much, I went back on Sunday and bought this:
I'm about halfway through the build, so there should be discordant musak in the house by the weekend.

My sympathies. Several android devices later I think I have finally learnt my lesson. Just need to chop in my galaxy tab for an iPad! Nothing wrong with it but I prefer having an iPhone so will look to see what the new model has and either get that or the X.

I switched from an iPhone to Windows Phone a few years back when the Lumia 1020 was released. Promptly switched back a few months in when I finally conceded that Windows Phone was ste. Tried Android a few times as a secondary device but really can’t get on with it.
I’ll stick with my X for now, unless the new iPhones are significantly better. I guess it would be in the spirit of this thread to upgrade to one regardless. Hmmm

I did promise to come back with photos when I moved. Things have been a bit chaotic here, holiday, our house move and then daughter upped sticks with her Partner to live in Milton Keynes (he took a very a very PH'y job in the area )
We're getting there. Most things are now out of boxes, stuff we've not had out for years is visible again. Work needs doing in many places but for now I'm happy.
Anyway, our dining room....

Fortunately the kitchen is big enough for a table
Still need to get all the full suits on to mannequins and Han back on the wall plus carpet etc
I've also made a start on my 'craft room' where I can sit, build armour, sew, resin etc. One wall and a bit is up, still got about 50 autographs to frame:
And finally, Jess......The impulse buy. Happily she fits right in, in the kitchen.
Am now on a no buy for the foreseeable
