Just picked this up for £10 facebook. Given the price I think it was more nessecary than frivolous. Unsure why, but my wife seems pissed off that it's in the hallway! My 2 year old is going to be over the moon when he wakes up the morning though. I Just need to find a bigger motor!
How was his reaction this morning? did he ask why you didnt get the merc instead?Swampy1982 said:
I thought this as good a place to ask as any, seeing as it's an utterly pointless "need"
Does anyone have experience of buying a half decent monogrammed shirt?
I'd like the monogram on the lower front quarter of the shirt rather than the cuff or collar.
Ideally id like a reasonabily high quality material.
Nope, but surely just buy the shirt you want and take it to one of those corporate embroidery places and choose the font you like/placement. Does anyone have experience of buying a half decent monogrammed shirt?

- awaits ridicule*
Won these at a local auction house on Saturday - they are original artwork by Edward Sylvester Hynes for the cover of "Men Only" magazine 1940s/50s in Gouache and watercolour on card. Paid £370 and took them to be framed today (cost nearly as much again just for simple black frames!), they are going on the wall in my pool table room/man cave!

Digging through their youtube channel they used some rope to help seal the the gaps for when using it as a smoker. Not sure what the technical name is for said rope
Stove rope - used for doors on wood burning stoves. I'll give it a go. Edited by young_bairn on Thursday 21st February 21:18
Fired up for the first time on Sunday, and had three co-op fresh 'finest' margherita. First one left for two minutes - completely burnt.
Second, 90 seconds and over-charred, but by no means inedible.
Third, 60s and absolutely perfect. Crust like I've never experienced. Staggeringly good.

Be keen to know if it works on 'corporate' machines which hate anything being inserted.
