Back to headphones....

How did people get on with the cheap bluetooth in ear wireless thingy ma bobs?

Any recommended ones?

Ideally ones that won't fall out when [-]running[/] walking quickly or blow the budget.

I tried the TaoTronics ones - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07M9BW2D - which several PHers recommended and they were utter ste. Fundamental design flaws made them extremely uncomfortable.

Sent them back and took the frivolous (well, frivolous for me) route and bought these: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B074QKGG72

Really like them - use them in the gym all the time.

Should't have clicked that email. Now soon to be the proud owner of an Aldi robot vacuum hehe

It's Home & DIY week, so strongly advise you to NOT go on the website or in store.
I spotted that, too.

SWMBO could well be making a frivolous purchase.
Intrigued, tell me more.

Having been round Harrods today and seen a Eufy one for £279 I could be tempted.
I could link to the Aldi site, but for your own good I won't. I didn't even know they sold cordless pressure washers nowadays, would be so convenient to wash the car with... or cordless paint sprayers, have some decorating coming up as well... Must resist!!

The vacs will probably be sold out soon I imagine.

I don't have a compactor. I don't need a compactor. But... do I want a compactor? hehe

Do they do backpack air compressors? Because being connected to the mains isn't very dynamic from an anti-zombie perspective.

I really like the taotronics I got (Your link doesn't work so not sure which ones you mean), they fit my ears very well and the noise cancellation is pretty good, perhaps also due to the very good fit though.

Guess one of us has odd shaped ears biggrin

How reliable are the workzone tools? I guess for the odd job they're ok, but nothing like a makita etc?

Yet another gigabit switch. Don't really need one but GS308s are £16 on Amazon so I figured what the hell.

I think this is the updated link

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Headphones-TaoTronics-Tra...

I wasn't alone amongst reviewers who identified the thin, raised (pointless) plastic rim just beyond the ear bud, which acted like a 'blade' against the inner side of the tragus.

Ah fair enough, those are different than mine actually. I cant find my ones on the UK amazon for some reason, but here is the German link:

https://www.amazon.de/Cancelling-TaoTronics-Nacken...

I also have these which i use in the office, the fit isnt quite as good as the first ones but still decent for the money:

https://www.amazon.de/TaoTronics-Kabelgebundene-Ge...

They seem to introduce new models very frequently - probably make a batch of 10,000(?), see what the reviews are like, edit the design or tech, and run it again.

Using my generic Anker ones when at work - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07N8RYGC4?psc=1&...

For gym and home use I have my old battered Leophile Eels. Also use them as a headset when playing CS GO.

I’m still tempted by the Nuraloops but at £199 I’m waiting for reviews before I preorder
