My frivolity has been a tad limited lately, however it will return to normal over the Christmas period when I pick up the life size, movie accurate R2D2 I've ordered
Pics will of course follow.
If I only come back from a prop makers warehouse with that it will be a minor miracle....

Nice!
I went Christmas shopping on Saturday. Spend €20 or presents and over €200 on myself. Not entirely frivolous to buy new waterproof trousers, gaiters and gloves, but why buy cheap when you can buy goretex?

We moved last year so frivolity has been on hold somewhat whilst we sort the house, still is to some extent. I have said in the New Year I will finally get around to properly sorting the Star Wars room and get the armour on some Mannequins etc. I'm thinking of making it more like a death star room with panels on the walls etc but need to have a think how everything is displayed.I believe prop guy has the bits I need to finish our Han in carbonite so that will probably be next on the list and other half has always wanted a Tommy Gun replica that this guy also does so can see us coming home with that too. He's an enabler 😂

I need 12 of the buggers for the kitchen but they never come down to a price that I deem 'reasonable'
There are a few alternatives, one brand is lnnr which works well with Hue but even those I cant get 12 of for under £100.

est I found for White Ambiance was around £10 per bulb, with the 'Color' Ambiance being around £25-£35 depending on the exact deal. Although with aforementioned surplus bulbs and some man maths it will work out less, for what I actually need.
I guess I should add my latest purchase to this thread.
