More frivolous purchases, stuff you don't need..

Having used a sodastream for a couple of years, they're pretty good.
However, the instructions all say 'don't carbonate anything that has the syrup already added' - carbonate the water, THEN add flavour.
You read the instructions? However, the instructions all say 'don't carbonate anything that has the syrup already added' - carbonate the water, THEN add flavour.
Crikey man, what kind of human are you?!!

While looking for a cheaper place to buy that jacket, I came across https://www.thisiswhyimbroke.com/uk/
I can understand why the website has that name.
It had a link there to this:I can understand why the website has that name.
https://xproducts.com/product/can-cannon-soda-can-...
That I've been tempted by for a while now.
Finding it very difficult to stop myself buying 1 or more of these RC models

Soooo just ordered this:
I couldn't bring myself to order a Canada Goose, but need something for the winter where it regularly gets down to -20c
Made from Dyneema (used in stab/bullet proof vests) rather than the usual nylon so supposed to be basically indestructable. Although they mark it as not bullet proof, I think they are missing a trick with the Chicago market if they just added a few extra layers.

Yellow card, not frivolous enough! Now, if you lived in Hawaii...I couldn't bring myself to order a Canada Goose, but need something for the winter where it regularly gets down to -20c

Came across this earlier. I haven't bought any yet, but may well do so on payday!

Knowing how poor the standard washers in a Defender are, but having read a review of how good that kit is, I'd personally file it under "essential purchase"! Still to have a screen that actually gets washed when we are off roading it’s got to be worth it right?
In my 20's, started a new job (not paying a significant wage) and I somehow came to the conclusion that it warranted a new watch, cue splurging £1600 on the said timepiece. To this day I regret spending that much but given I will lose money by selling will likely hold onto it. Hardly wear the watch as I'd rather have a G shock or cheap Citizen on instead...

I did exactly the same but at least I have saved £10 year in batteries, although its £500 to service but thats maintenance and doesn't count in man maths!Sway said:
Can we guess?
I'm going for either a Brietling or a TAG Heuer.
Which I came very close to doing the same thing a number of times in my early/mid 20s as career first started generating some decent dosh.
Got a Citizen Skyhawk AT instead for a fraction the cost, and still like it.
Good guess! I don't have any decent pics but it was a Tag Carrera Classic on the metal strap...random fact, it was worn by Mr DiCaprio in the movie 'inception'. I bought it on a whim, simply because I liked (and still do) the appearance/styling of the watch but ironically hardly wear it and prefer to wear my cheaper quartz models e.g: G shocks and Citizens. I've left the watch game now as a bit more conservative with ones impulse spending! (Doesn't include cheaper quartz/ digital stuff though hence the G shock collection is permitted to increase )I'm going for either a Brietling or a TAG Heuer.

I've come so close, a dozen times or more, to doing exactly the same as you. For me, it'd have been a Monaco with Gulf stripes...
