Want. Is it easy/quick to fit?
Took about 30 minutes, got access to the pipe and fittings through the ash tray hole in the dash.

Sweet! Love me a cruising street board...

Kitted one is a now 17 year vintage carbon/foam Row Racing slalom deck, kitted for anything but slalom!
Nice. We have a 600m boulevard from our hotel down toward the town. It's wide, has separate sections for cyclists and planting throughout to provide natural obstacles to weave through. It drops a gentle 2%, so is perfect for lazy cruising with the boy, but is far from onerous to walk back up. If I was more committed, I could walk out of town and roll back in for a total cruise of a mile and if I was mental, there's a closed road above the town that drops 100m in a mile though rather more steeply in sections, and has several barriers (concrete) across it to stop, er, everyone from going up and down it.

I'm not at all suggesting I've bought a fancy board, but the thing about being an adult, and frivolous, is a lot of skate gear that's mentally expensive to a 14y/o is only really a tank of fuel or a night in the pub in terms of £££. The opportunity to upgrade wheels or bearings and make a significant difference to your ride is always there, for less than £60.

Sweet - and completely agree on the difference in attainability as a adult sized child... In my early 20s, earning decent cash for the first time and with an amazing gbp:usd exchange rate I bought huge amounts... Peter Ver Done cnc'd slalom trucks (still the greatest, most versatile trucks ever made), the original Wefunk prototype downhill deck (a thing of immense beauty), a whole box of NoS Tracker Stims bushes (still in my garage, never to be sold - I'm light and no one has come close!), the list goes on.

Sold the vast majority over the years, and it turned out to be a great investment, as well as providing hundreds of hours of enjoyment and experimentation.

Holiday setup sounds superb...

2%? Get some slalom wedges on that bad boy, and 'pump' your way back up! Loads of fun - and may be the origination of the nickname I've held for the last 20+ years! It's all in the hips baby!

Having used a sodastream for a couple of years, they're pretty good.

However, the instructions all say 'don't carbonate anything that has the syrup already added' - carbonate the water, THEN add flavour.
You read the instructions?

Crikey man, what kind of human are you?!!

hehe
A human with a clean kitchen- AND a fresh sparkling beverage?
It's one of those things though, gotta see what happens for yourself. I now know and wont repeat the mistake... well except wine. That's getting put in tonight.
I realised the other day that I'd not used my sodastream for some time. And also that it was years past the recommended time to replace the bottles. So I salvaged the gas cylinder and bought a new one; $70. Energy mix ftw.

It's a restored Triang Vanwall, one off ........... look out for an old one and restore to required type.
I'm looking for an old one to do as a JPS car but they fetch silly money. This one seemed quite good value already done.

That is a thing of utter beauty. The prop guy I use has a kids pedal land speeder but I have no idea how I'd display it.

Meanwhile. Picked up 3PO today. Tomorrow I shall attempt to light his eyes!

I have/had one of those wheel bolt alignment things but found it too long and easier to do without it.
Yeah, having a long one requires a little more skill to use effectively.

I am now the proud owner of a Moleskine Smart Writing set.

It will sit nicely alongside the 150 other pens and countless notebooks that clutter my office, but at least I'll feel modern.

If thats not worth £180 quid I don't know what is!

Having posted on this thread previously that I bought a leaf blower (as below) even though I have a landscaping company do the work I think we are due an update.

The landscaping company have now been fired.

Part of the email said:
This is now the third time you have completed a fall clean up. I was under the impression that a fall clean up was a "once and done" and any repeat visits would come with an apology. Instead I was surprised to see a $450 bill. This was t he point that I decided to calculate my total landscaping costs for the year and discovered I am currently paying enough to reequip your entire team every year. Is it usual to have leaf blowers and lawn mowers dedicated to one address? If that is the case, can you kindly leave the tools in my garage so I can complete your half assed efforts and avoid future extortion?
I should be clear here, due to apathy I had fallen foul of "nice house guv'nor syndrome. I did not, and do not want to be responsible for cutting my grass. Yes, first world problem but it gets to 120 degrees and there are ticks. The landscaper just pushed his luck too much.

The problem I face is that I still do not want to cut my grass. So here comes Geoff to the rescue.

Geoff will be out there cutting the grass for me. He is GPS enabled so if he get kidnapped I will be able to find the culprits.

So none of this seems frivolous yet. Well, not completely. But, Geoff will not be able to get to every blade of grass so I have had to also buy a strimmer and will have to cut my grass. Thus making the whole idea of not cutting my own grass a failure.

That's magnificently frivolous in my view. Buying things to do a job for you, that you still then have to do is marvellous.

my favorite thing in all this saga is that the very first instruction for installing Geoff is to "mow the grass".
