More frivolous purchases, stuff you don't need..

Thanks chaps! It certainly does remove the tedium of getting the pressure washer out, untangling it all, plugging it in, trailing the hose to it, plugging that in, then moving it around several times as you wash the car, putting it all back after, takes longer than the actual washing bit!

Yeah good effort. I plan to outfit the inner wall to the garage to have a jet wash, normal tap and a hot water jobby.
The reel is so damned expensive though....Or have you a good source ?
I bought it off Amazon, this one has the hose and the tails as well. If you have a pressure washer like a K4 that has quick connect fitments you don't need anything elseThe reel is so damned expensive though....Or have you a good source ?

My name is Smitters, and I have sinned. Most excellently...
I can't run due to injury, therefore I'm going to ride my bike on a turbo trainer. This works fine, and has zero issues. So naturally I've bought all the gubbins required to use Zwift - a virtual cycle training world.
And while I was doing this, also bought a few clip on bike lights, a second pump (so I don't have to carry the current one from the shed to the house, all of 20 paces), a cycling jersey for my son, a new t-shirt for the missus, a new bike lock, a kids bike seat for the infant in case I do actually leave the house with children in tow, and, as an incentive to get a grip on my isolation belly, a set of bluetooth scales.

I've thought long and hard before posting in this thread. I seem to bleed a lot of brakes. I have a great Motive Power pressure bleeder, and a couple of Motive Power bleeder drain bottles. All well and good, however this still necessitated using both bottles to drain a caliper with dual nipples. I didn't have the means to do both side with a single bottle, so had to spend over £100 on a Pitking dual bleeder bottle.
I think on reflection this post does qualify for the thread, as I could easily have used my existing bottles, but had to buy the above for frivolous reasons alone. It is beautifully made however and the arched clear hoses at the top allow you to watch air bubbles as they pass by.
