Went to Lidl and bought one of those portable jet wash things, complete with charger and a second large capacity battery. I have a perfectly serviceable Karcher in the shed. It's a new gadget so why not.

I'm building a bike for the OH during lockdown as a sanity project. Frivolous in itself as she's got a bike, though it's awful and heavy and we live somewhere hilly, so the lighter the better. Anyway, I digress. This new bike of hers needs a seat. I don't have any spares suitable, so I bought one on Facebook marketplace. Much like the 106 above, the saddle came with some extra parts...

I've wanted a Yeti frame since I was 12. Which was some time ago. Definitely frivolous, given I have a cyclocross bike, a road bike, a retro hardtail mtb, a full sus mtb, two other frames waiting to be built, one bike out on loan and we've not including the existing or part built bike for the missus in that... but this was a bargain.

He's still looking at boats. Meanwhile I'm still looking at summer houses.

If we lived anywhere near the coast and had a tow bar on the car there are dinghies/tenders absolutely everywhere at bargain prices. Alas we're in the midlands and have no way of getting one back.
Suspect we'll drop on one at some point. I shall continue looking at summer houses wink

So what you need is a floating summer house with a small outboard engine on it, ticks both boxes then!

My latest frivolous purchase has arrived! It’s frivolous as I bought it for a wall in a house I haven’t bought yet!

That is absolutely outstanding. The hot tub one not so much. I don't 'get' hot tubs. Don't see the appeal of having a bath with your mates biggrin
