Not a tattoo person but recent family events has got me thinking of a simple tattoo with the names of both of my children. I like the little feet ones but I am sought of set on the figure of eight tattoo with the names in the link. Was thinking of placing it on the inside of my lower left arm so that I could see it.

What do people think?
Are there any better simple tattoos?
Does it hurt like hell?

I've never understood the need to tattoo your kid's names on you.

I think of my daughter everyday and can remember what her name is every time without having to see it scrawled on my skin as a reminder.

Don't be cruel. Maybe his family has a history of early onset Alzheimer's.

But then again, would you really want to wake up one morning and see the tattoo and think what the fk are they doing on my arm?

Similarly, I could get my bank managers names put on my thighs upside down so I can think of him every time I'm taking a st.

Or maybe you should tattoo your name on the back of yours. That way at least when he's applying his charges, PPI scams et al, he can remember to call you by the correct name.

I saw the post and refrained from posting- or being poster no 2. But you all went for it with the comments !!!!

there is a massive thread on tats on here for advice from the inked.

there is also a massive thread of bad tats.

there is also the council thread which I implore you to post in and the pictures of said tat, once you've done it for much ridicule.

Personally I witnessed the birth of my children and because I'm not a knuckle dragging moron I'm able to remember their birthdays and names.

But each to their own.

just thought, what are their names: I suspect they could be amazing !

One of my mates has his 3 children's names tattooed on his inner forearm. It's not something I'd want to do, but each to their own.

Tattoos can be quite expensive so you'd probably be better off buying a secondhand tattoo machine off Ebay and doing it yourself. How hard can it be?

You've come to the wrong place for tattoo advice.

You've come to the right place for attempts at humour from bored ar5eholes.

Moron, debatable. Opinionated and arrogant, yes.

Personally, if I'd grown up to realise my dad had my name tattooed on him when I was little, I'd be mortified.

It's so council, they have a department in the council for logging this kind of information.
